For the Aalesund game, I got to FP just before 7pm and got my ticket - the girls were talking about being due to close at 7pm, but they were still selling tickets close to 7.30. I know it's not a certainty, but I'd imagine they'll stay open as long as there is a sufficient demand outside. MON RA DOSSERS

Like the majority, I'm champin at the bit for tomorrow night - I almost feel like I did when I was a nipper as the 'big' Texaco games appraoched against England's then big teams As I said earlier and many others have said, to hell with being embarrassed, have a few pints, or do whatever gets you in the mood, just get in there and make a noise that will make Odense realise the Dossers have a 12th man kicking every ball If we get beaten by a better team, so be it, but don't let us whimper out We CAN do it MON RA DOSSERS

Not sure what I think of this one - I remember Bairns mates at the time he was with Falkirk saying that although he seemed to be a media darling, apart from the fact he was a whippet, he wasn't that impressive, and they hoped to get decent money and get him out. He's had a few moves around since then, and I'd like to think he's improved and matured from the spell down south- presumably CB sees something in the guy. MON RA DOSSERS

I got my own ST seat tickets before the 1st game, but wouldn't have minded the South Stand as another 'one off' - only slight critcism would be that for the Aalesund game, they filled the South stand from the East stand side in rather than the middle outwards, but here's hoping the bottom tier is pretty full anyway and we create a wall of noise right round FP MON RA DOSSERS

Now that I've calmed down a bit, I worry slighty that the midfield may be too light without Jennings in there grafting with Lasley. If Forbes gets the nod, maybe this is the game he'll rise to the occassion again and prove me wrong That aside, glad I trusted we'd get something from the game and got my tickets on Sunday - Thursday cannae come quick enough - we've had enough nearly moments in recent years - this is a cup final Get in there and create a noise that'll make them wonder what's hit them MON RA DOSSERS

YAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS How they gonna cope if we play for two halfs MON RA DOSSERS

Doing well so far against a reasonable but far from brilliant team - Humph needs to start putting decent balls in to the box to at give the middle guys a chance of winning it - and a wee bit disappointed in Jamie Murphy too many balls are getting away from him after his first touch - he's got to bring other players in to the game. Also agree with the comment re Saunders for the goal - just go and win it and argue about who should be there later - instead we're a undeserved goal down All in all though, keep the score reasonable, or better still, get a result which the 1st half suggests we're capable of, and we do them at FP MON RA DOSSERS

Spot on I genuinely wonder about journalists though - as has been said, if it's to do with the Squirm, they bend over backwards, or are told to, not to offend, as it may just affect a percentage of their readership, or worse still, upset a major player, yet when one of the lesser lights fights a cause, they scour boards like these for the possibilty of digging up some dirt about the club, rather than getting behind them. Of course I could be wrong, but God love the guy, Eddie Forrest wasn't a name that instantly sprung to mind until I saw his name on this post, and what do you know, The Scum suddenly troops him out with a tirade, that is in the part of Forrest understandable, but nonetheless negative. Easier than actually constructing story which lays out the Quinn saga from start to finish. So be it, there will be a journalist here and there who may be prepared to go against the norm, but, clubs like ours have to stand up for themselves, regardless of the perception of the past. I agree with Stuwell - no doubt that Cardiff consider us small beer that they don't need to concern themselves about. What are the options, roll over and forget about it !! Remember, there aren't many clubs in Scotland, if any, Squirm included, who would back off from this - that type of attitude got us in the shit when we nearly went down the tubes. Difference with the Squirm is that the media would be creating merry hell trying to back up their fight - doesn't mean we're in the wrong MON RA DOSSERS

Must admit that although I was gutted at losing the game on Saturday (someone mentioned at the time that even a draw would've felt like defeat !), I thought we played well on the whole, and feel quite positive for the season ahead. A difficult couple of weeks ahead of us, but here's hoping MON RA DOSSERS

I know the club are trying to get things right, but in my eyes, they still have a way to go - the two weeks leading up to the Aalesund I was on holiday, but took the opportunity to call the club for 2 tickets on the Saturday morning before the game - my call was taken by a grumpy fella telling me the girls were too busy and I'd have to phone back the next week as there was nothing that would be done over the phone, regardless of my circumstances No mention was made re the Monday being the last day for phone bookings, so unaware, I called the club on the morning of the game to be told they wouldn't take phone bookings as Monday was the last day for these as the phone bookings take too long to process - FFS, how long does it take to take a note of 2 names, season ticket seats if needed, and a visa number for payment - obviously i didn't want them sent, but would collect at the office Instead I was told I would need to get to the ground to buy tickets, no other choices - I was thoroughly hacked off and contemplated just staying up north another night, but decided at lunchtime, that irrespective of the hassle I wanted to be there - again less than happy when I was getting my ticket just before 7, as the girl happened to mention the club had only got permission to open the South stand during the day - just as f****** well it was, as I would have gone ballistic if they'd said the South stand couldn't be opened and the ground was 'full' I'll be at future games, but I seriously wonder how many do just turn their back on the idea of going, when they get hassle similar to myself and clearly others MON RA DOSSERS

Didn't make the game last night, but from reading the bulk of the posts, we seem to have a strong group of young guys who are not too far away from pushing for a sqad place. Interested in the McCluskey & Salim possibilities though - Jim O'Brien gave us a good attacking threat when he ran at defences with pace and purpose - from what's been said, McCluskey may be the same type of player, and if Salim looked the part, it'd obviously be worth J & V continuing to look at him - we're gonna need all the attacking options we can get. Other than that, where's the new creative midfielder MON RA DOSSERS

Uefa mentioned that there may be 'some' fixture reversals, but only said that the club reps had details in their supplied draw packs - also mentioned that any such decisions would be communicated to the clubs, and public presumably, at 15.30 (assume that's CET, so 14.30 our time). MON RA DOSSERS

Make no mistake, last nigt was a right good result in terms of the score, but the first 20 minutes aside, we were fairly poor. They were a pretty average team who showed nice touches and moved the ball around reasonably well, but for us to sit so deep against them beggered belief. At times, the defending was desperate, with the ball being hoofed anywhere, only to come right back at us. We will improve I'm sure, but the way I see it, we have to move the ball to feet a hell of a lot more effectively than we've shown so far; there's a danger that we'll end up lumping the ball regardless of who we play, because thats the way we've largely played so far. As good as the keeper and back four have played so far, a good team will punish us playing like that; there's a lot to be said for 'the best form of defense is attack'. Having said all this, if we get past the next round, I may well be back on here saying Pa's a tactical God MON RA DOSSERS

Was only 11, but I'm also pretty sure this was my earliest experience of being utterly gutted at a Well result. Lived in Toll St at the time, and there was no end of hassle in the street as the crowd poured out - detested the jambos in equal measure to the Squirm since. MON RA DOSSERS

This may have been posted already, but with the game on Sky, is it likely to be sown in the Cooper ? MON RA DOSSERS

With the game being switched from tonight, I was goosed as I already had something on last night - during a break in the proceedings, I sent a text to the wee fella to find out the score and he told me were losing 6-5 - his message was kinda garbled and I got the impression we had been leading and had thrown it away, and the remainder of my night out was pretty much consumed with thoughts of the Aberdeen game a few years ago. I actually cheered in the car on the way home when I caught a news update and they gave the score as 6-6 - straight on here when I got home and the true story of the game unfolded - realising we were 6-2 down with only 30 minutes to go makes me absolutely gutted that I wasn't there to witness the comeback - I know at the end of the day it's only a draw, but comebacks like that remain long in the memory of not just Motherwell, but Scottish football as a whole, and I got no doubt the guys that played will be long remembered for what can only be described as a truly awesome comback.
