Really strong Rangers team out against our weakened team and 1-0 down already! 5-0 sounds like a shout! We can't handle direct running at us, showed it last two games against this mob!
-
But would you ever bet against Scotland tho eh eh! Think we should start a poll on that Jay
-
Nae bother Jay Don't get me wrong as I said earlier I have went to a good few games with Scotland and I'm one of the lucky ones who went to Euros in England when I was a young lad but as Stu says it's like a Stag weekend and the boozing side of things lost the novelty after a few trips and home games! After falling asleep at Celtic Park when we beat Austria 2-0 I realised that drinking heavily then going to the game doesn't really mean that much to me or basically I couldn't remember fuck all about the actual game. Watching Motherwell win has been with me since I went to my first game at FP in the early 80's and will be there til I die. I love watching Scitland win but wouldn't go out my way to go to the games anymore.
-
That's coz yer a bawbag tho

Motherwell for me all the way! Used to go to Scotland games a few years ago in my late teens and early twenties but kind of grew out it! Love watching my country but get really bored really easily with them and have done for years! Started when we started playing all the Anglo Scots. When you don't have 11 people belting out the National anthem, when only a handful are interested to play for there country when it matters, makes me less interested! I would give my left and right testicle for Motherwell to win the league but tbh would only maybe give my left pinkie for Scotland to win the WC.

I was informed bye what I would class as a very reliable source that Celtic bid for Randolph in the January transfer window and a deal wasnt far off being completed! Seemingly they will be back in for him in the summer.
-
Hate missing Motherwell games MJ esp Scottish Cup ones! Will depend to me what the old boy wants to do, if he wants to go to the game I'll prob go to that with him! Already missing the Celtic home game due to Accies bastards not wanting to re-schedule, don't want to miss a Scottish cup 1/4 final! P.s don't tell Grievsie or Fritz
-
Piss off another Sunday game! Good money for both clubs but I hate Scottish Cup games on a Sunday! Plus our Sunday team has no more canx to use for games, pure dead pish!
-
Welcome Franny! 10 goals between now and end if the season and everything will be rosey! I'm actually pretty happy with this signing! Hopefully with the chances we can create he can be on the end of a few! At least it takes the pressure off Murphy and Sutton. We do have a habit of turning peoples careers around! Whose to say Jeffers won't be the next one! New start for him here and could be what we are looking for two turns few of these 1-0 defeats into draws and wins!
-
14 away Scottish cup ties in a row I believe. Fucking typical, apart from OF away, couldn't have been much harder! Oh well, as mentioned they aren't great and are beatable!

And if my auntie had baws she would be my uncle........ I know where you are coming from, not only on the pitch but off the pitch this year we have had one hell of an unlucky time of it, we are due a rub of the green... shame there isnae much of it at Fir Park.

He started the game pretty well, his link up play on the deck is pretty good, clearly has a decent touch but he is pwder puff in the challenge and cannot header a ball. Which considering he is a big unit is a joke. Two fresh air slices in the box in the first half I think killed him stone dead. he had a chance to bury it after great work from Jones on the wing. I would give him a run on Saturday against Stranraer and then if he still is guff then it will be Adios Amigo.
-
Tough choice tonight but went for Jenno, thought he battled and fought well all night and shackled Eremenko pretty well. Closely run bye Jones and Lasley.

Looking at our fixtures until the split isnt too pretty Sat 12 15:00 A Rangers Rangers SPL - - - Tue 15 19:45 A Aberdeen Aberdeen SPL - - - Sat 19 15:00 H Hamilton Hamilton SPL - - - Wed 23 19:45 H St Mirren St Mirren SPL - - - Sun 27 12:45 H Celtic Celtic SPL - - - March 2011 Sat 05 15:00 A Inverness CT Inverness CT SPL - - - Sat 19 12:00 A Kilamrnock Kilmarnock SPL - - - April 2011 Sat 02 15:00 H Aberdeen Aberdeen SPL - - - Sat 09 15:00 A Hearts Hearts SPL - - - Sat 16 15:00 H Dundee United Dundee United SPL - - - From that I would think we would be lucky to get 3 wins and 2 draws with 5 defeats, so bye my reckoning we will get 11pts. Would take us to 39 points and thats enough to be safe in the league before we play the bottom six split. Thats if we can get the goals for 3 wins.

I shouldnt have bothered posting, just read yours and went. +1, well said Yir.

You just knew that was going to happen tonight. All the talk of needing a striker and how we will struggle to score goals, we go out and create chances and play pretty well in patches but guess what, we cannot put the ball in the net. Again walking away from the football thinking what the fuck is happening and when are we going to win again. Game was played at a really high tempo and was good to watch. I thought Murphy played decent tonight but again had the chances to shoot and finish and wasnt for taking them. Jennings and Lasley again outstanding albeit Jenno should have scored. Big Up to the referee Stevie O'Reilly another shit performance. Let that number 81, whats fitba coming too, for Kilmarnock away with for or 5 challenges then books Jenno. What where the odds on that tonight. Thought Killie again where very physical and the wee arrogant fucker O'Reilly wasnt for stamping it out early.

Ha ha your right I did mean November. Doh.
-
Shite game in shite weather on a shite pitch in front a shite crowd. I'm going for a 3-3 score draw
-
A loss tonight will see us 8pts behind them if you want to be pedantic!! And still behind Utd, St Johnstone, and an ICT team who haven't won since September! That to me is a bad decline! Nobody is blaming McCall for the league form/position just yet! But failure to win at least two out the next 5 games I think wil leave us in serious danger of finishing 10th! Thats a fair whack of revenue re top six crowds and league placing that we can ill afford to lose.
-
Cant believe we have this fanny again and Jennings is playing. Whats the bets that he books him for his first tackle.... again.
-
Clarkson first season he was a revelation, looked outstanding to begin with but declined after Butch tried to play an 18yr old as a lone striker and ran him completely into the ground and when he was fucked we signed McDonald and Hamilton and he hardly got a look in for ages. Was physically and mentally fucked and took him time to recover. I'm sorry but I don't want that for Smith, Erwin, Pollock et al. They need time to bed in and develop. They can't be thrown right in. Defenders are a slightly diff kettle of fish due to position they play. Maybe slightly easier as no pressure to score and win games. Strikers live and die bye goals scored.
-
If we get an injury to Sutton or Murphy are any off our young strikers good enough or ready to be thrown in. I spoke to a Dumbarton fan who say Smith was pretty poor for them. He doesn't look ready to me to start in an SPL game. Of course we have the enigma that is Casagolda and McHughis out for 6wks. A signing till the end of the season to supplement our strikers was a must in my opinion and didn't materialise. All fair in saying play the kids. But what if they aren't ready and we knock their development back. For every McFadden, McCulloch and Clarkson there is a Stevie Bryce or Alex Burns.
-
An hour to go, cant see anything happening! Oh well, must have missed out on a few!
-
Good signing, decent player and what they have been needing a decent natural left back! Is that6 players in the window???!
-
I don't believe it for a minute but in his defence Div is usually pretty clued up in Scottish football and actually a decent St Midden fan(crazy talk I know).
