I love football fans. There were blizzards out there this morning when the game was called off, about a foot off snow and expecting fans to travel from Edinburgh through to the game when they would have been travelling on a motorway about 40mph. All this talk off why is Asda and Tesco's not shut is a lot of absolute shite, they are essential amenities for everyday life where most folk have to walk at the most 15 mins to find the nearest supermarket, football isnt essential. 5000 folk decesending on FP in this weather isnt ideal. Stop being so fucking blinkered the lot of you and get a grip ffs. Tell you what all the people moaning about it that live around here why dont they go to the Tesco's in Gorgie. Let us know how they get on when they get back from there journey.

Thats nearly the team I would play Milo except Sutton up top with Murphy instead of Gow. Not overly confident of this game as Hearts have a tremendous away record Won 5 lost 1. Think at best a draw is what we can hope for. We need to keep Skacel and Templeton quiet. A really hard run of games coming up and need to take something from our next two home games to be in with a shout of top 3 or 4 at Xmas. Looking forward to this tho. P.s. Has Hammell ever missed a penalty for Motherwell?? He used to hit them for Southend and I'm sure he scored a few aswell. Why wouldnt you want him to hit them may I ask. I remember when he first came on the scene, would regularly get forward and have a crack at goal and possessed a very good strike off the ball. Something he deosnt do very often now.

Dont think thats as much a problem with the league Bop, more where Forbes gets played with Motherwell, just flogging an old horse again bye saying he is a central midfielder, not a winger. Like Hately is a full back not a midfielder. Like Sutton is a striker not a winger. Like Alan Gow is a......... good player when he plays in the right position, just dont know where that is yet.

So Ross Forbes comes onto a game and plays in his natural position and plays well..... shock horror. He wasnt stuck out on the wing have to track up and down not throwing himself into tackles and subsequently getting hassle from the East Stand thereby losing confidence. The boy is clearly a central midfielder who given the right position could change/win games with his technical ability. If he was playing in La Liga or Serie A he would be well at home due to his style and ability on the ball. Give him a run in the middle and I think we would reap the rewards.

The games we have dropped points in this year outside the OF are the bottom four in the SPL, Hamilton, Aberdeen, Hibs x 2 and now St Mirren. These are the games we really should be winning if we want to push for Europe again. We play well against teams that let us play football but any game against a big physically strong team we are struggling. Hopefully the games against Hearts and Killie will see us back to form and getting results.

Score for City today at home to Leicester to clinch a 2-0 win. Good week for Clarky boy.

You know my dislike for Scottish refs Steve after listening to me all season but the past two years have seen us given the sum total of diddly squat. If I had the patience I would list all bad decisions against us and any ones that go in our favour the past 2 years. Guaranteed the bad would outway the good.
