Delighted with the result and the performance. First 20 mins we could easily have been 3 or 4 ahead. O'Brien, Murphy, Sutton and The Duke where ripping them to pieces. Controlled the full game except for a 5 min spell when they scored. Reynolds, Jennings, Murphy, JOB and Sutton where all tremendous today. Well done lads, very very proud to be a Well fan at the moment.

Think he is really coming onto a game. Him and Las are builing a very solid partnership. Would be delighted if we got him on a 2-3 year deal.

£500k, nah your all right. £1m then yes I'd take that, in his standing we would get between £250-500k in the Jan transfer window. Dutch Champions(nearly) or a few Premier, Championship clubs then I'm sure to hell £1m is a more realistic figure. Lets do what other clubs do and not accept the first bid and see if we can actually for once get the true market value for a player. Its too often we seem to just accept offers for our players and we never seem to fight for there worth. I'll use Skippy for example, who here was actually happy at the £600k we got for him. I wasnt, if we had held out longer we could easiily have got more for him. Come back with a better offer and we will consider it should be our opening gambit to a bid like that. IMO Mark Reynolds is a top class footballer, he can read a game intelligently and has pace, maybe not the physical stature but the 1st two qualitys are very well suited to the European game and also to the EPL I think. A few Well fans would be very shocked at how well he would do I think.

Think you'll get folk saying they are brutal all over Scotland.... just because they like a moan mind you. Personally speaking havent ever had a problem with a Steward at a game. Each to there own tho.

Alot of people on this site have really short term memories. Average??? overrated??? your having a laugh man. As a footballer Corrigan was a complete class act,when he moved into the centre of defence his tackling, vision and distribution was tremendous. How he didnt become an established player in the Scotland fold was astonishing. One of my favourite Well players of all time and a complete gentelmean too boot. Plus he loves the club.

Murphy for me. A bit lightwieght at time but his running, control and posssion on the ball was excellant. Very rarely wasted a pass or run, his finish was great and should have been awarded a penalty after skinning two defenders. Sutton also played really well but its Murph for me.

Am I right in saying that it is Jim O'Brien who we are talking about. The only Motherwell player who would stay on the deck every time.

Happened about 10 yards from me and I had a great veiw and if JOB had been sent off for that then I would have been raging, he couldnt fight sleep. That decision and the red card where the only two the ref got right all day.

He didnt retaliate in my eyes, that would have included hitting Miller which he didnt do, he ran over and both pushed each other with O'Brien falling on his arse. Any harder player would have cracked Miller, tackle was a liability and fucking shocker.

Why was Jim due a red card. He did get up and square up to Miller for what could have been a leg breaking tackle bit he shouldnt have been sent ouff.

Really happy with the result today. Really solid performance and again never looked like conceding a goal. Still trying to play football on the midden which is a bonus. Ref had a poor game again today letting Hibs away with murder apart from the Miller sending off which has got to rank as one of the worst tackles I have ever seen at Fir Park. Excellantly worked winning goal, great finish from Murphy who I thought was 1 of our best players today. Big Sutts was smashing aswell. I'm a massive fan of Sieb but I must admit for an alround goalkeeper I would have to say Ruddy is the best keeper I have ever seen in a Well shirt. Excellant shot stopper, great with cross balls and has a good physical presence. Think it would be excellant business by the club to keep him for another couple of years. Maybe a deal similar to Hughes and Porter's would make the club a nice little profit. Cant see it happening but you never know.

Your right lads, I'm wrong, thought ours was laid turf. St Mirren grew there pitch from the moment they started building there stadium think it had over a year to grow and knit together. Ours had what, 2/3 months tops. Not enough time at all.

Plus the difference with St Mirren is that they grew their pitch. It wasnt laid turf, it was a grown grass pitch. Big massive difference. The grass is knit when growing and not having to knit together like ours.
