Just saw the highlights on BBC two very good goals from us. Bad defending for both theres again caught on the counter. Most importantly though the lasley offside decision is down right shocking. He was clearly about 5 yards onside. that is a terrible piece of linemanship. No wonder Gannon is going off his trumpet, bad bad descision the lino was right in line so he had no excuse, it would have capped off a wonderful goal aswell and finished the game at 3-1. Very poor, but not the main reason we lost all 3 pts.

I'm actually pretty pissed off about drawing that game today. Played 60mins against 10 men and bloody Mensing scored.... who was the muppet at that corner that shouted "Mensing your shite" 10 secs later he flicked the ball in his head and turned round and laughed right at us... We created enough chances to win three games out there but again only showed real urgency when we go behind. We are a very difficult team to beat but I'll tell you we dont half make it hard to win games. Draw specialist for the coupons this year. 6 draws in 11 games, 3 which could have been victories and 3 which could have been defeats. Pass marks today for me where Humphrey at Rb, not his usual but the boy did well, Lucas who I thought linked again with Sutton well. Hately in midfield, not sure defensively. JOB was top class in the 1st half, ripped Hastings a new arsehole but in the 2nd we didnt give him the ball. Disapointed with a couple, Coke again today, drifted in and out, looked far to casual from the start, nearly caught on a few occasions, picked up a touch in the 2nd tho. I suppose the stat that we are still undefeated away from home is in tact but not to chuffed that today was not 3pts. 2pts dropped for me.

My fave has to be when Dougie Arnott nutmegged Carl Muggleton the day that Fergus Mccann was introduced to celtic fans. 9mins into the game shut the bastards up. Fitzy's v the jambos Skippy v Celtic Mio v Hibs Softie v Dundee in SC Faddy v Rangers at Hampden the list cpuld go on. But the best celebration i think I have seen or been in wasnt actually a goal, Buzz penalty save last year in Nancy was something special, what an atmosphere.

Happy with the result today. Thoroughly deserved victory and some good stuff played in patches. I was impressed by the link up and hold up play bye or 2 forwards Sutton and Jukebox. Both had very good games. Thought our centre of defence looked solid aswell, the youngest professional central defensive pairing in Britain I would say, combined age of less than Davie Weir. Also thought Reynolds had a very good game aswell. In the 2nd half in particular he was striding forward with the ball excellantly. I think we could ahve scored a few more and apart from a spell just after they had a player sent off we controlled and dominated the game. All in all a good result and a clean sheet. Where do I bloody start. I am very very disappointed in that performance tonight and for me one man got it all wrong. Gannon tonight changed the shape of the team to a bizarre formation. Was a definate 5-3-1-1. Not good enough going forward at all. No dig in midfield and the less said about Craggs tonight the better, although in his defence he wasnt the worse player, step forward Giles Coke, totally lack lustre uninterested performance. Was it to wet for you son. Why was Reynolds man-marking 36year old Alan Johnston. We made a very average team look decent, our passing was diabolical, our movement was awful and it looked like we had never played together as a team. Only pass mark for me tonight was Hutchison. St Mirren had 3 shots on goal and scored three chances. Ruddy had no real saves to make. In saying all this we had a clear cut chance at 1-0 to draw even and was a bad miss from the Duke when through 1 on 1 with the goalie. What a wasted oppurtunity for a cup semi final.... diddy cup or not this was a real chance wasted....

Thats the same team I would play. Might leave Forbes a bit isolated in the middle but I would task Murphy to drop deeper and player behind the Duke and infront of Rossco. Allow for linking up the midfield and forwards etc. Could also give Giles a little boot up the bahookie.

I'll take a 3-3 any day of the week. Good result especially being 3-1 down. Well done lads, good fighting by the boys.

Seems to be a common theme Melvin. Obviously not watching the game but our play seems to fall down a bit when the Duke is on the ball. Dont know if that is something to do with it. We play very good football but sometimes think we over play it too much.
