Not saying I thought he was the business or anything but do we actually think he got a good enough run/crack of the whip at Motherwell for all of us too comment on his actually ability. I genuinely don't think he had enough of a chance.

Can't agree re Clay. Seems a nice guy and an honest decent professional, however he in my opinion doesn't offer much defensively, doesn't offer much offensively, doesn't have great pace, doesn't have a crunching tackle or great skill. He's just an bang average player who gets out muscled, outpaced and out manouvered regularly. But hey, he seems a nice guy.

My thought exactly. Lack of pace in our team is worrying. Plus lack of strength to compete.

All depends on ours (McGhees) mentality in the games. Will he play to OUR strengths or will we try and I say try to combat their strengths. Play it like a cup tie, right in their face at high tempo then we will have a chance. Sit back and play deep, defensive with 5 in the middle allowing them all the ball to hit on the counter then we won't have a chance in my opinion.

Louis Moult was fantastic today. His work rate, running of he channels and he ball too Skippy for the goal was top class. Skippy was also very good today as was Cadden. Kudos to the back 5 today aswell who I thought where all very solid. However going for Moult.

Would suggest bit of both tbh. Partick are honking at the back.

Great news. Delighted with this indeed. I Spoke to a family member of Cadds recently so I kind of knew this was being discussed however they did say he has absolutely no interest for at least 2 years in moving onto anything else. He wants to establish himself first and foremost and can look for the cash at a later date. The phrase used was he would rather take the Jamie Murphy route rather than the Lee Erwin route. Happy with that.

I watched 15mins of a u17 game about a month back against Dundee Utd at Dalziel Park. He definitely stood out..... More for his physical size and the pace he had rather than ability. Hopefully progress well under Craggs and Lasley.

Watched the highlights from tonight. Some outstanding football at parts again from the looks of it. First goal in particular was tremendous stuff. Really good to watch. Dom Thomas looks like he is getting back to some sharpness.
