Nearly 10 years since we played Airdrie.
Too long, need to put them back in their place. Here's hoping for a Derby cup draw. (Obv both teams need to stay in the cups longer for the chance difficult thing to ask)....
Shows how different people view games.
I thought Skippy, goal aside was utter horse shit. Couldn't control the ball, constantly lost possession, couple of good chances, especiall the break from the 4 on 2 and he fecked it big time.
Brilliant night, really enjoyed the game.
Cadden, Thomas and Maclean played well but best player in claret and amber for me was Campbell. Looks a very very good player. Passing tacking and bursting forward.
Plus some good finishing. Happy days.
But he didn't catch everything.... Had an utter flap at a cross from a corner. Could have been punished for that.
However we weren't and the rest of the game he was solid.
My pet hate. The national stadium having a 'Rangers' & 'Celtic' end. Utter shite.
I understand they are biggest, been there the most blah blah but horrid all the same.
Adam Johnson..... 6 years for having some naughty stuff with a 15yr old .....
Reid leathers his missus.... What do you think, community service?
Albeit Johnson is a creepy bastard but it's interesting how the comparison could be.
Probably not the place for it.... But... Was the auction to play in a game on Fir Park managed by a legend not a cracking fund raiser from a few years back.
Surely the club would put use of the pitch up free, get Lasley & Faddy as team managers. Use of strips etc. If the players do it for free then surely say 30 folk paying £150 minimum each would do the Society a nice wee turn.
Moult.... Without a doubt. Absolute touch of class as a player and also a person. Always gives 100%.
However special mention to Kennedy, McManus and Jack Leitch for his first game in a long time. The lad burst a gut.
I fair enjoyed that tonight.
Good open game. United where dirty bastards throughout.
I love Louis Moult, guy was brilliant tonight in his link up and work rate. Plus scored the winning goal.
I know I am diverging from the thread a bit. Few things I noticed from these highlights.
The pace of the game was brilliant, everyone wanting to play at real pace, not some of the walking shit we see today.
Tommy Coyne was superb. You forget how good a player that guy was, in today's day and age he would be worth an utter fortune.
