  1. Not listening but my mate text to say sounds really positive he will be back next season.
  2. Anybody listening to Skippy on Sportsound.
  3. Reading up on him. Seems a bit of a poacher style who gets on the end of crosses. Should hopefully suit our style with Marv & Lionel supplying him.
  4. Not a player I know much about tbh. Young, tall and hopefully pacy. More the replacement for Erwin. Interesting. Edit to add. Just over a year ago MK Dons & Preston where linked to him. Highly rated before some injuries after his release from Burnley.
  5. I didn't say ever or mean ever, which is why I had stated at the time he broke thru. Chris McCart is on record saying he is the most talented player at his age he had and has ever worked with.
  6. No offence big fella but that first statement is utter bollocks. Clarkson when he first broke thru was one the most entertaining exciting young talents Scotland had produced. An utter menace and pest who was slowly broken down by Terry B by playing in an unplayable position as loan striker. Picked up a few injuries and was replaced by Skippy which blew his confidence to shreds. He is an natural goal scorer who I believe may flourish back at a club where he will be appreciated. No matter his poor run but 9 goals in 9 games was not luck last year and the game at Fir Park he looked very decent. Let's give him a chance and our support.
  7. 1 year with a club option for the 2nd. Just to be pedantic.
  8. Happy enough with this. As a squad player yes, really good professional and thoroughly decent fella. Loved him first time around. When we played them this year he looked decent taking the ball into feet and linking up the play. Suits the Barraclough style. Don't think he's our main striker mind you but not going to knock the signing at all. Welcome back Clarky lad.
  9. Got to agree. Even in his interview today he calls himself an out and out winger. Ainsworth strength is getting in behind full backs, put him in the middle you negate that. He can score goals and can strike a ball, hell yeah but not a centre forward for me. Big John Philiben was one of the best strikers of a ball I've ever seen but I wouldn't want him up front.
  10. Probably watched his interview on the official from last year..... I'm delighted with this news. On the end of last year he really is a major threat. Pure pace and trickery down both flanks for next year, wether we play a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3/4-5-1 I think this will benefit us greatly. I think both Marv and Lionel can easily score 10 each next year. Creativity and goals from both ends with wee Dom to slot in aswell. Happy days.
  11. Interesting tweet from the club. Hopefully some news on the player front tomorrow....!!
  12. Cor-fuckin-rect also after Stjarnan.
  13. Nah not for me. I'm really pissed off about the state he left us in on the park and his shiting it to get us out this mess. Plus the football in the last year to 18months of his tenure was torture to watch. His lack of playing or nurturing youth will be a massive step back in terms of how we wish to progress as a club. Plus he moved to Rangers and just looked like a cunt so for those reasons... I'm out.
  14. Not for me, no need of another full back in Watson and I don't rate McGeough from what I have seen tbh.
  15. Ooft tough start right enough......
  16. Was Celtic back up now freed. Signing for some Polish mob whose name I can't spell.
  17. I understand that but it's an interview about Motherwell and we have to discuss that mob yet again.
  18. Ended by chatting about Rangers....... Yawn. Good interview other than that and I appreciate the connection to Motherwell but being nit picky I hated it ended on that club yet again. Sick of hearing about them.
  19. Suttons doesn't expire until 1st July. St Johnstone want him released to play in the Euro qualifier before then.
  20. Do you have someone to sit with you tonight!!! I appreciate you will be an emotional mess. :-) #prayforyabezzer
  21. Yeah you can imagine that. One of the only players to look reasonably fit at the start of the season so clearly showed some professional pride in that aspect. No denying he will be a loss but if he plays like he did first 4 months of the season for St Johnstone then I won't be too afraid.
  22. Shame Sutton has left. I was a critic of his style of play but as a professional, a person and a goal scorer you cannot deny the quality he had. Difficult to replace the goals but not difficult to replace the player. All the best to him but we move on.
