No body has said he doesn't get into positions too score!! It's that he has to rely on others putting the ball into him in these positions if they don't he does very little else. Erwin can create chances for himself, has a better first touch, more pace and better skill. I looked at a thread on P&B from November 2014 about who has been your worse player of the season so far.... One of the most popular amongst Well fans was John Sutton!! John Sutton is getting made out to be some magic man who single handedly would have saved our season.... Seriously.....

This times x100. Having a family of in laws all Rangers fans, on both my wife and my sisters husband side and being the manager of a team including 5 Rangers fans I really couldn't imagine anything worse..... Flip side I would love it(Keeganesque) if we could beat them.

May be poor management but it also reeks of poor professionalism by the players..... Something which can be stated about our full season tbh, from pre-season, Stjarnan and beyond. They seem to have a inclination of downing tools and not bothering if going against them, rather than knuckling down to fight for a future career here or elsewhere....

Twardzik in for Long. Watt in for Ramsden. Leitch in for Lasley. Dom Thomas in for Grant. Moore in for McDonald. I would be happy to watch that.

I was happy when we signed Long as he seemed too have ticked all the boxes.... Unfortunately his has cost us severely. I would have brought back Dan 4 weeks ago. Now it might be too late. However one thing we are overlooking...... The goal keeping coach. Is it potentially the fact our keepers all appear to be regressing under the tutelage of a certain Gordon Marshall?? I remember when Hibs where being lambasted for extremely poor goal keepers.. Was Marshall not behind the scenes also!!

Ya Beezer did you watch any of the first half of the season???? Has John Sutton only miraculously turned up in January. Sutton was our main striker for a large proportion of the season and was really really poor against Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, Kilmarnock, Hamilton Accies, ICT, Ross County ..... I could go on. Take your rose tinted statistic glasses off on Sutton. He is a good goal scorer, there is no denying, but he has offered very very little this season when the team has been playing poorly and there is a reason he has been dropped. Look at Hearts when they where struggling at the wrong end of the table, Sutton was dropped by them also. In a team playing with confidence he will score goals but in a team struggling he most certainly will not pull them by the scruff off the neck and win us games from nowhere. I am not saying Erwin has either, but he certainly offers more as an all round player when we really need it.... If you cannot see that then games a bogey....

Ya Beezer I know you have a major man crush on Sutton but other than put the penalty away what else did he actually do.... Sclaff a good chance wide?? The last time we started Sutton against Partick he was rank rotten.... In fact the past few starts he has had he has been rotten. He relies on others playing well and providing chances for him, which we did not do for anyone today. He can score yes, but only when others create, his link up play this full season has been shite. However I agree, after 20mins it was crying out for a 2nd winger and I would have started Ainsworth or Thomas ahead of Grant today.

Agreed. Game changed again when moved out wide. Our best attacking option up top shunted left. Dom Thomas on should have been the move.

McDonald should have been subbed off before he was sent off. Had a howler! Today was our seasons cup final and we really didn't turn up. Awful performance from start to finish. Gutless, spineless, no passion. Mainly from our experienced players. Sickened.

Quiet thread for one of the most important games in a long long time!! Going to be a tight game but can see us getting a result with a huge performance from someone, Skippy, Erwin or possibly Marvin.

I've heard rumours Vigs injury is career threatening. Potentially the reason why. Tbh I'm disappointed as I think he's a class player.

Not sounding great is it. Just hope maybe Lee is happy here and feels a bit of loyalty is due after his injuries etc and signs for a few years. In saying that some of the comments if he reads them would happily make him scarper to somewhere he might be appreciated better. Re the compo aspect, I'm sure we will only be due cash if he moves to a Scottish team but will get hee haw if he goes down south.
