  1. If Vigurs had pace he wouldn't be playing for Motherwell. He doesn't so he is..... I love watching his style of player far more than a chase every ball run like fuck and throw yourself into a tackle player.
  2. Vigurs was at the heart of almost every decent attack of ours yesterday he had 3-4 world class passes and his link up with Faddy is starting to look the business. I understand he doesn't track back as much but tbh that's why we have both Las and Carsy in the midfield. It's why it worked for County as he had Brittain and Lawson to cover his arse. Give him the ball in the oppos half and he will hurt them. That's why he is a creative midfielder and not a defensive midfielder. I make it almost a goal a game assist in our 6 game winning streak and plenty other chances created but still folk where giving him a hard time yesterday!!! Yesterday was one of those win ugly games you need if you want to be successful and we did but with a bit of class thrown in. Happy days.
  3. Derek Townsley on the wing maybe.... Capable in his day of decent stuff but when he was bad.... Ooooft.

Hutch just ahead of Vigurs today, Some of his passes where tremendous to watch bit he was still getting pelters, total joke. Big Hutch bossed the game, strolled thru it. Best game in a while.
  5. I had high hopes for McHugh aswell, to me the biggest problem has been he hasn't had a run off first team competitive games. Never went on loan or played more than 3 90 mins in a row, except u20 football etc. He's now at the age where this is telling on he doesn't look quite as sharp as he could. The boy clearly knows how to finish which is always a bonus but he looks sharpness outside the box IMO.
  6. Good shout Ramsden was solid aswell and mention to wee Twardzik, solid with great distribution. Best keeper so far for us this year.
  7. Just in from the game....... Brilliant attacking performance. Faddy is back...... Started off a bit shaky but then we got the ball down and started playing some really good stuff, crisp short sharp direct passing and direct running. Couple of cracking first half goals from Las and Zaine followed by Faddys little chip. Dominated the 2nd half and could have scored another 3 or 4..... Outstanding performance from Carsy at right back, won every tackle. All in all a right good away trip.
  8. Kerr - Cummins - Ramsden - Hammell I would think prob the above.
  9. That's only on a Sat mate. But in answer to the q' it's not on the TV. Arsenal v West Ham is on BT Sport at 3pm.
  10. Exactly how I saw it aswell. Vigurs, Las and Carsy all taking turns to come across left. Cant blame Vigurs for that one lads!!! I thought Vigurs had a good game, linked the midfield with the forward line and played a good few passes into space.
  11. Best we have played this season IMO. First time we have played the ball thru midfield and not went long to Sutton. Ball on the deck and to Sutts chest with players playing on the lay offs. Passing was sharper and crisper also. Bonus playing a team slower than us who stood off and let us play football mind you. Keeps up this brilliant run of winning every game against bottom 6 sides. If we can take 7-10 pts from the next 4 games we will be in a very good position.
  12. Men against Boys Stall, in football ability and physically. Our players bounced off them continually.
  13. Fair play the decent ones in their support, seem genuinely disgusted.
  14. That also is true.... doesn't make it right tho. I am aware the extent of damage is different etc but it still feels to me muted outrage due to the fact. I personally love seeing old firm fans making an arse of themselves and being able to have a go and take the high ground, just don't think we can this time.
  15. I really wish we hadn't damaged NDP last week and could have so taken a huge Moral high ground here.
  16. One of the big problems is going to be motivating the fans I think. The recent run of results, pish poor quality, pish poor weather, Xmas time etc is going to in my opinion see a serious downturn in crowds. I've spoken to a few fans who really can't be arsed this year and things will just get worse. Unless Faddy can start to sparkle then I cannot see anything to bring a few fans back. If I didn't have my SB then I wouldn't pay to watch that.
  17. No suprise there.... from before the game you could tell they fancied some mischief. All I saw & heard before the game was cop cars and sirens going. First time I have seen that at a game for a while.

    Celtic

Fraser Kerr, kept a clean sheet whilst he was on.......
  19. Oh I almost forgot to add. STEVEN MCLEAN IS A COCK.................
  20. Well that was rotten. Defended ok up until the 43rd minute, then it all went wrong. Outplayed by a bigger, stronger, sharper team, who passed crisper, more accurately and moved so much better than us and who wanted it so much more than us. We looked scared, intimidated and out of our depth. I have been saying for a few months but tonight was another example of how down right unfit a team we actually are. We are slow, sluggish, spineless to an extent. After 65mins tonight a lot of our experienced pro's were blowing out their arses, thats just not acceptable. We clearly do not concentrate enough on the fitness aspect of the game and that for professional footballers is a cardinal sin, you can get outplayed all day long but you should never be as unfit as that. It was a genuine case of men against mice in the physicality stakes, so easily knocked off the ball.
  21. I know that, my thoughts are more along the lines of against Dons and Rovers he would have more time on the ball and space to create chances, due to 10 men, lower league etc. I think in a few games he has been our most creative player, not saying much for sure but I think your being very harsh. I get the impression he's a player who needs to be built around and not have the responsibility of defence as much as others..... Can we afford that... I think so as we are heavy based on defensive players and short of creativity. His stats are totally different to what we are seeing that's for sure but in my opinion there's a Definate top player in there but it's just getting the best from him.
  22. Tom Hateley said he was a centre midfielder!!! Players aren't always right....
