  1. And similar down south no doubt! Big cash drop in deed!
  2. Thought I was out a year or two! Defo same game tho?
  3. Scottish Cup in 1992??? Felt like that chant went on for at least half an hour!!
  4. Agreed, people forgot our home form was horrible last year to begin with some absolutely honking performances. Certainly picked up and became excellant but I remember a heep load of apathy about some of our performances to begin with!
  5. Sutton has now officially been made redundant by Hearts! Maybe some movement on that front with us soon then!
  6. Kerr looked really decent when he first signed but fell away after getting roasted up at Aberdeen by Fraser and Hayes! He then had a few crazy moments but I would be inclined to give him a chance to pick back up again, hopefully to some of the promise he showed.. Versatile aswell fir Cb and rb and prob a cheaper option than Saunders and Hateley! Plus the size of our squad I'm not knocking back any additions!
  7. Fenerbace and Besiktas both banned from Europe next season! Does this affect us in anyway!!
  8. I've never been Suttons greatest fan nor his biggest critic. To me he was not disciplined enough in the striker position. I completely agree with Joe I felt he sometimes chased down far too many lost causes, which although Higdon was the polar opposite at times meant we quite often didnt lose our shape so easily. I also cant stand strikers that go down too easily and to me Sutton is more than culpable of hitting the deck at the slightest touch when he could easily play on. Dont get me wrong he would be a decent enough player to have at the club as he undoubtedly can hit the net but I wouldn't bust a gut to get him back. Plus Postie I cannot see too many clubs bigger than us wanting to take a gamble on him. Didnt exactly set the heather alight at Hearts or on loan down under. He wont get the same money again thats most definately for sure.
  9. Great signing! Delighted with this.
  10. Decent players but neither of the two are what we need right now! Carswell, Lawson and Lasley can do the same roles. Need width and creativity!

Cracking move for the wee fella. Closer to home and playing for a big club. All the best Henrick!
  12. Sorry my bad, just saw its a Well fan saying this on the Killie transfer thread.
  13. One of the Killie lads on P&B saying we are interested in Rotherham winger Lionel Ainsworth and in competition with Killie for his signature.
  14. I would take Wotherspoon aswell, big athletic lad. Decent pace about him. Also plays on the right aswell I think.
  15. Allan and Wylde would be tremendous! Add creativity which we now really need!
  16. Jesus, what's going on. At least we are getting some cash for him which ain't bad I guess. Infuriating player at times but also very exciting to watch when on form. This summer is getting more interesting each week!
  17. Not in the slightest Gazzy just find it annoying that I post a few points on my opinion on our dealings with contracts and the next thing you know I'm looking to run the club and make all decisions on playing staff contracts! Quite a jump to make but young Al has our fans going free whole hog with the Society!!
  18. We only have to pay full wages if the agreement isn't by mutual consent. Players quite often agree to be released for a set fee. Jesus Christ we have some right pedantic pricks on the site who seriously think they know fucking everything.
  19. I know that's the case ONFY my whole point is that we as a club make it easy for them to do that. Our own players where stating in April we hadn't offered them contracts as yet. My point is we need to take that option away from them if possible and protect our assest. Players have the power now, we all know that but whose to say some loyalty ala Murphy or Clarkson cannot be found. Don't give them the option to sign and they won't, there heads will be turned and they will leave. Give them the option and the temptation if extra cash and you never know what might happen. At no point did I say they would 100% sign on the line whatever we put in front of them, I'm saying we need to as a club fight harder to keep them rather than let them walk away.
