Unless its a narrow forward three like we played against AberdeenI don't think this would work. We all know Higdon struggles as a lone striker and plays better with support to link with plus apart from Law our midfield don't exactly get forward much. Think this would leave us short of forward options.

I'm actually gutted if Murphy is going. Feels like he has been around for years and years an D is an integral part of our squad..... In saying that Porter in his first spell was sheer quality! For versatility give me Murphy for sheer quality I would take Ports!

I've heard the deal for Hately has been done for a while, sorry verbally agreed for a while. He can sign on the 1st Sept as mentioned previously. Makes sense, to be honest. His name alone will make him a hero to the mutants.
