But it certainly gives a bit of added joy. One of my favourite seasons as a well fan was the year we finished bottom. Exciting, entertaining, pumped Hearts Rangers and Celtic, finished bottom. It's a funny game but I enjoyed that football a hell of a lot more than I've enjoyed our games at Fir Park this year.

I agree with your full post Milo but thought I would single these two out. Hateleys set pieces of late have been truly atrocious and speaking to Thistle fans they are saying Forbes is worth a spot in there team for his deliveries alone. It's great to see and hear that Lawless and Forbes are thriving at Thistle and hopefully we will get to see them at Fir Park next year. Lawless is a hero to there fans and Forbes is heading that way also. Two bad decisions to let them go in my opinion.

Scunnered.com yet again. Another home game we fail to find the net. We played well in patches but also at times our passing and decision making was awful. Why Lasley gave the ball away like he did for the Utd goal was beyond me. All he had to do was play it wide to Murphy and he tried to chip itdown the middle. I was sitting thinking to myself its only a matter of time before Utd scored and at that point one good cross and good header and games done. That brings me to crosses and set pieces. What the fuck do they work on at training, is it even part of McCalls curriculum. In the first half we put some decent balls in from corners and had no one attacking the ball, in the second half our corners were rank rotten full stop. Free kicks from dangerous positions where really really poor and Hately either couldnt beat the first man or played it too long. Crosses from open play where also really poor and we couldnt find a player. Positives for me I thought Murphy first 55 mins looked really dangerous running at them, then we stopped giving him the ball, Ojamma also had a decent game was really unlucky not to score, his run and strike in the first half looked in all the way. McCall then takes him off??? I think McCalls tactics at home need a major re think as teams have us sussed completely. Not hard I gues, play 5 in the middle and close us down.

I think Higdon's main problem is he doesn't go down when fouled but stays on his feet. To me it's what he should do and he is a very honest player. Compare the Hearts game recently. Every time he went for a header Zaliukas and Webster climbed all over him but he stood his ground and got 0 fouls. Sutton came on and within 3 mins had win two fouls by backing into Ramsden then falling over. As a well fan that used to infuriate me. To me I think the useless refs in this country need to realise you can get fouled without falling over.
