Maybe Randy has a clause in his contract letting him go for £600k. This happens a lot with Bosman signings. I would be disappointed if he left especially if we were still near the top of the league but would understand if he did.

Think Clancy will be at LB with Hately remaining at RB. In saying that nobody has asked if Jenno will be fit. Really need him for this game aswell. When the OF need to win they usually do, when teams need a goal, a win, a clean sheet then playing against Motherwell generally means they will get it! I'm not hopeful for a result this weekend but then again I wasn't hopeful away to United, Hibs or ICT. Our team is good enough to beat anyone on its day. Unfortunately I can see a 1-0 Celtic win by a dodgy penalty decision.

Hately in centre mid with Clancy at RB and Hutch back in the centre. Few positional moves but still solid enough. Wonder what the script is with Jenno.

Kenny Blacks interview in the Daily Record yesterday actually made it sound like this is more than just traiing and they are genuinely looking to getting him in. Interesting.

I've been saying that for weeks MJ. To get the most out of Humphrey and Murphy we are crying out for a Centre Midfield who can get on the ball and play a defence splitting FORWARD pass out wide between full back and centre half. Law, Murphy and Humphrey especially at home really need to come deep a lot to collect the ball, it then gets knocked to Higdon to lay it off and our midfield is usually pretty far behind relying on the full backs getting bye them to support and put the crosses in. Which is why we arent scoring a load of goals at home and our supposed goal scoring creative players are a bit off the play when the ball comes in. If a team sits with a solid back four or 5 then we will struggle to break it down. I love Lasley and Jennings but sometimes to me they are too similar and whenever they get the ball in the middle its sideways and back ways and played short to our wide players. The games against Killie, Aberdeen etc we have cried out for a CM who can get on the ball and play a pass forward like a Hughes or dare I say it and will probably get crucified for even suggesting it, Ross Forbes.

One player I think wouldn't get slaughtered is Faddy. Guy clearly still has a large affection for our club. Would hate to see him sign for either of the OF but I can understand it if he does at the moment. Without a club and obviously needs to put food on the table.
