  1. Think today will be a difficult game but also a very good test for the lads and where abouts we are. A mate of mine is a Killie fan and he is really excited about his team this year and says there signings look to be top notch. I hope we come out with a similar mentality as last week and give it a go. Think the only change to the team will be a tactical switch and ranther than go for an attacking 4-4-2 --------Jenno Lasley------- Humphrey -------------- Law -----------Murphy----------- -----------Higdon----------- It might be more like ---------Jennings----------- -------Lasley Law -------- Humphrey ------------ Murphy ----------Higdon ----------- Trying to use our pace to hit them on the counter. Bye all accounts Killie have two big Centre halfs and play with attacking full backs, so i would utilise the pace down the flanks in behind their full backs and try and get the ball into The Don's feet so he can hold it up and link in the play. Hopefully a better result and performance than last seasons last vist to Killie.
  2. I must be one of the only ones who really doesnt see this. He is a decent player but in my opinion he is as overarated as hell. Comparing him to Ian Wright is just ridiculous. In any game last year against the well he was definataley nothing special, even taking that overhead kick into consideration. IMO that aswell should have been saved by Randy and could easily have been disallowed as his boot was about 3-4 inches from Hutchy's face. Out of a mtter of interest how many goals did he score last year from open play????
  3. Aach, we have bands who even have Claret and Amber as there colours. From this county. Kills two birds with one stone.
  4. I agree 100% but I just dont see it happening.
  5. Come on David, never going to see £2m. £1m plus add ons and club would defo accept in my opinion.
  6. Capable of a full Scotland Cap, between 15-20 goals this season and a £1m move down south. This boy is a real talent and with the intro of Law he has someone to take the burden of creativity from him. Let him play his own natural game.
  7. Stevie Carlos was tremendous today. Really hard to pick as our full midfield and forward line was tremendous. Prob goin to go for Hammell tho.
  8. Couldnt have asked for better today. Absolutely delighted with how we went about our football, complete joy to watch. Three top top top goals. Did I say top enough..... We are top of the league, woop woop ;-)
  9. Brilliant today guys. Created a really good atmosphere. keep it up.
  10. Brilliant game of football. Our stuff is a joy to watch, absolute joy. In saying that ICT have had a good few chances, hitting the woodwork twice. We are slicing them open at times. Stevie Carlos at LB has been top class.
  11. Two absolutely fantastic goals. Our passing has been a joy so far today. Ball on the deck moving swiftly.
  12. I completely understand what you and the lads are trying to do Dee and it's always appreciated. From someone who likes a song at the fitba tho there is a good few things tho that make it harder. There has been a few new songs which I'm sure I'm not the only one that doesnt have a clue what your singing. The ACAB chants not everyone feels the need to join in the 7 or 8 times it's sang, same as the Stand up for the Motherwell, when it's clearly being sang to antagonise the stewards etc. Maybe more established Motherwell songs being sung would create a better atmosphere. I could go on but it would sound like I'm having a go which I'm not. Hopefully constructive.
  13. I actually really like it. Different, which is what I like about away kits.
  14. You would think so. I for one cannot wait for it to start. 3-1 Well tomorrow. Hutch, Murphy and The Don.
  15. First game thread of the season, prior to the game commencing, your the opposite, getting more and more premature.
  16. That reads like we had a full squad out. What was our team, anyone know?
  17. Young Halsmann looked more than capable on Saturday against Leeds. Wouldn't mind him as back up to Hammell.
  18. I think Murphys best move would be to stay at Well for another season. Score 15+ goals this year and earn a big move next summer. A full consistent goal scoring year upfront to show his versatility. Then a move to Bolton or the likes next year.
  19. I see no double bluff I just see you misinterpreting someones ironic comment. No surprise to see you riding on in your high horse to join those criticising Forbes. We will keep going around in circles re this players and for once I would be happy to see a promising young player leave our club. For the good of him and my Fecking sanity.
  20. I'm awaiting the inevitable post from Busta...... 'forbes is pish' Nobody is saying he is like Hagi or Beckham, all I for one am saying is that with the small squad we have is that's its time we supported all our players. Let's stop giving our guys abuse Even yesterday in a friendly the usual troglodytes where abusing Humphrey and Forbes. get a grip ffs.
  21. What's this with the Forbes love........ A centre midfielder plays well in centre midfield shock. Thot his passing was good today. Hope he gets a good turn at it this year.
  22. I must be one of the only ones but I thought Higdon was decent today. His link up play is good. Plus as I mentioned beforehe is more disciplined and leaves more space for Murphy and Law. Defo need another striker tho for the squad.
  23. Randolph with a fumble from a corner dropped onto players feet. Edit 2-1 Leeds. Nunez with a mazy dribble.
  24. Playing well. Cracking goal from Murphy. Randolph saved a penalty from McCormack. Soft soft decision first of all. Wee winger went down easily. 2nd time I've sent Law and this boy is class. His touch and movement is tremendous.
