Hyypia we defo linked to us after playing for Mypa. But I'm sure we werent prepared to pay what they were looking for such young inexperienced player who we thought wasn't good enough.

Saami Hyypia is another player that was linked to us but wasn't deemed good enough I believe. My favourite was when Jari Litmanen was linked to sign for us after Harri Kaampman became manager.

I hope you Understand Reynolds was a player who when he first came on the scene at Well was an outstanding prospect and went on to have a couple of good seasons before whatever reason his progression stalled. He was that highly thought of we rejected £750k from Rangers for him. A lot of Well fans were sceptical about a move to Weds as physicality isnt a strong part of his game, very easily bullied off the ball bye a bigger stronger opponent, which it looks like has been found out down south. To me a move to Holland or similarr style of football would have suited him more. Really sad to See this happen as he is still a young lad and he is one of our own. A better professional you will struggle to find.

I wouldnt class Ports as a target man. He is tall yes but he has very good ability with the ball at his feet and wasnt actually that good in the air. Wether he would work well in Tandem with Higdon I dont know as it would probably be the slowest strike force in the SPL. A hard working striker like a Dougie Arnott would be an ideal partner for Higdon, dont know enough about Grella if he is that type of player. Or will SMc be looking for a left midfielder to be able to put Murphy up top with Higdon. I always thought Murphys best position would be in the hole behind a main striker and infront of the midfield. Kind of where a lot of people are wanting Hughes to play. A midfield of ------Jenno-----Lasley------- Humphrey--Murphy---A.N.Other ----------Higdon----------- To me would be pretty decent. A.N.Other being a tricky pacy left winger/attacking midfield. I'm sure Pollock kind of fits that bill, albeit he is maybe too young. But another player to slot in there and I think that would be quite an entertaining attacking team.

I think Jennings is playing this pretty cute. Keeping us still interested whilst courting interest from down south hoping for a bigger move! If that move doesn't materialise then he will sign with us claiming it was always going to happen! Fair play to the lad.

Think Higdon will be better at holding the ball up and not backing into players before falling on his arse. As much as I liked Sutton that did my nut in.
