It's well known Hughes did not enjoy playing in a midfield 2 with Lasley and that was the main reason we signed Bob Malcolm. If we are playing a midfield 3 then I would give him a contract asthe creative player but in a midfield two his defensive duties somewhat lack. Definately a talented player and would he make us better, probably. Can we afford to accommodate his talent is the big question.

Doubt one signing would be enough. Really don't want to rely on the young bucks to get all the goals. Two signings and use McHugh/Smith as back up. I agree tho McHugh deserve a decent run. My only concern is the lack of physical presence in that forward line. Really need a big striker, again someone like Higdon to slot in.

Severe work to be done on our forward line this summer. Sutton, Jeffers, Casagolda and potentially Murphy if the reports are true. At the moment we are looking at a Forward line of McHugh and Murphy with back up off Smith. I would expect two signings and poss 1 loan signing up top. Interesting times.....

Wouldnt think there is much chance of him coming to FP. On far too much money for a start. Plus we have Humphrey at right wing we don't need another. In saying that he is from Shettleston and is looking for a move closer to home. Could see Hearts or Hibs as a more likely destination.

He's a car thieving, knife carrying ned of fuck(allegedly) wouldn't want him anywhere near our club. Rangers have paid a small fortune to try and get the lad progressed and it doesn't seem to have worked. As prev mentioned including moving his full family to a big house from the schemes. Anytime I have seen him he looks unfit and overweight and over rated. Let's bring our own kids on instead of Rangers. Fleck plays in the same position as Jamie Pollock I believe so let's not bother our arse with him and give Pollock a chance.

Does anyone actually know if we have offered him a contract or not. I'm personally not overly bothered if he stays or goes. A completely fresh forward line might be a good thing. He definatley showed glimpses of his quality but unless we get a partner to do his work for him then he might be a luxury we cannot really afford. The way things are going, No Sutton, Casagolda or Jeffers. A lot of work required up top this summer.

No doubt there would be a cash sum involved. I've heard that aswell today that he was very keen on returning.

Thought Jeffers had 2 goals at least. Aberdeen away and Dundee Utd at home.

I'm undecided on the Jeffers situe at the moment. Started off really well but think he fell away something terrible near end if the season. As did the full team mind you. His work rate really stopped and he looked uninterested. Again a few where in the same boat. A lot prob depends on McCalls plans for Jamie Murphy. Does he want him up top or playing on the left. Jeffers movement could very easily open up space for Jamie but who is going hold the ball up and bring the strikers into play. I agree with Al B, Higdon should defo be an option. Unless SMc has a few irons in the fire, here's hoping.

Good move for Sutts. Bad move for us. Genuine decent guy. Would have liked him to go down south but hey ho. Big Shaun H will have him in his back pocket any way. I unfortunately think this will be the first of about 6-7 players to leave us this summer.

All hardworking players but hardly world beaters....... Physically strong but not much pace. Typical Jeffries cloggers.

I'm sure McCall would like Sutton to stay but I'm also sure he will have a back up plan. Hopefully a 6ft3" battering ram of a centre forward from down south who could compliment Murphys movement. I really like Sutton but I wouldn't be 100% heartbroken if he went. As has been mentioned numerous times we have lost better and progressed! If he wants to be 2nd choice behind Kevin Kyle and play 20 games a season for his £4.5k a week then good luck. I will be more gutted if we lose Randolph or Murphy.

Speaking to few Dumbarton fans they all rave about the lad Devlin at right back. Think he is an excellent player. Don't see why he can't come and make an impression on the first team next year. Look at Barry Douglas that signed for Dundee Utd from Queens Park he played a good few first team games. As for Craggs i have an awful lot of respect and time for the guy but we have got to be realistic, maybe his time is nearing an end! All sentiments put aside we need another centre half to partner Hutch. Or replace him as I think there will be vultures hovering over the big chap.

Until you got home and noticed your wallet was missing. I work with both Celtic and Rangers fans are they are actually pretty decent punters......... until you start talking about football and they become the moronic brain dead fools like the the rest of them. I honestly find in nigh on impossible to have an impartial educated chat about the game with a Celtic supporter. Every last one have bought into the Worlds against them chat.
