Been an advocate of the site for a long time and always enjoy posting on it but all fairness to Gaag who does a good job I'm sorry I'm far from a fan of the new set up. Far too cartoony and the childish like, feels like something a group of kids should be on.... in fact its quite suited for us then. Finding myself only really going on it on my mobile as all the daft icons that everybody is using and that bloody shout box at the top are doing my tits in and I dont have to look at them using the phone. Actually finding myself not posting as much due it. Less is more in my eyes and I thought the old set up was ideal. Each to their own i guess.

Why change a winning formation and a winning team. We were so short in midfield it was frightening. Lasley and Jenno against 4 or 5 every time. St Mirren and Hamilton Accies in 4 days at Fir Park is enough to scunner anyone with football, two teams playing 3-6-1. 8 games out the last 11 we have failed to score, that is seriously concerning. Again I thought we had turned it round and to go and play like that is another complete boot in the bawsacks. Against this mob aswell, fuck me. If we play like this on Sunday we will get destroyed, another 6-0, no bother. This was a big oppurtunity for 4th place lost and instead of 2 pts pulled away on St Johnstone and Dundee its 1 dropped to them and 3 to Aberdeen.

Agree 100%. The 'cutting of the cloth" has been ongoing all season with this point in focus. The only goood thing about that is we have been running without his money and if any new investmnet comes in then it will be but a bonus.

I just found out yesterday that Billy Reid is on a £3k a week 3yr rolling contract at Accies which makes it almost impossible for them to sack him. Plus he gets a Land Rover Sport thrown in as part of the deal! Fitba is crazy biscuits!

Over my heid. I think St Mirrens grew there's for about a year before they played on it. Ours had a summer, you'll get no arguement out me about the poor groundsmanship!

St Mirrens pitch is a planted grown pitch from scratch rather than a laid turf pitch which has made the difference! They actually planted the pitch prior to building a lot of the stadium. Hence why it's in such good condition!

Have a right go at them with pace and intensity hopefully get a goal then try and bring them out of there defensive stance and catch them on the break just before half time! 2-0 up at HT and second half give them a right going over!

Only joking mate, I used that analogy a few weeks ago when comparing Forbes and Adams, with there physicality and football ability and was completely shot down in flames. Everyone knows I'm one of the main members of the RFESD, (Ross Forbes East Stand Defenders) and yes I do sit near to Stevie D and have to listen to the complete shite that is spouted from people who clearly do not have the slightest incling of a football brain in there heads. The boy has natural ability and for months I have said that played in a role that suits him he could be very instrumental in our play. Wha is it Holloway calls Adam, his choirmaster. Why do we think that Humphrey and Murphy has fell out the picture recently, all due respect to Lasley and Jennings neither of the two of them are the type that can play a through ball into space for Murphy and Humphrey to run onto the ball and create, the emphasis has been on both of them to take the ball deep from Jenno and Lasley and take it forward creating chances. If we play Jenno, Lasley and Forbes, you can then let Jenno and Lasey win the ball and play it to Forbes who will at least have the ability to unpick defenses with a through ball to our forward players. Think back last year, how many times at the start of the season did Jim O'Brien profit from a pass over the top of the full backs from Forbes, he then went through either one on ones with defenders, winning free kicks, penalties, crosses etc. The 3-0 Killie game at FP being the main example. We need to give the guy a chance in his natural position. Which I hope we are about to do. Ping one into the top corner today son from 25 yards and shut them up.
