"Direct question to the members of the board of SteelmenOnline" Do any of you intend to judge Ojamma on his performances on the pitch for better or for worse or just automatically elevate him to demigod status on the basis of a game against Morton and a couple of goals into Peter Enckleman My season ticket is sitting here and im just waiting on the answer before deciding whether or not to return it for a refund and eat my 'Well Society membership with chips for my dinner.

Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco
ML1 replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
They were given their winding up orders for paying their tax were they ? So it isnt the bumping of the taxman then thats the problem , thats fine , its how much he gets at the end . Any opinions on Dundee then , should they be expelled post-haste fron Scottish football ? Ive purposely been avoiding this nonsense for the best part and im back out again. Anyone using it as excuse not to renew can batter in , surprised they could bring themselves to watch us post administration anyway , they've lasted well. The queues up the ticket office this week hopefully means they'll be replaced . -
Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco
ML1 replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
What have Rangers done ? Failed to pay tax and went into administration ? Hearts have failed to pay taxes in the past year, Dunfermline failed to pay their players , moving onto the what ifs and maybes Celtic its transpired have used EBT in the past and sorted it out with HMRC and the SFA , no punishment for dual contracts there at the time. Why no walking away from it over any of the above ? Scottish football IS bent , Romanov has said it since day one , Falkirk and Thistle fans used us as evidence in the past for saying it , the fixture rigging that goes on around the old firm is evidence of it In my personal opinion the self confessed time you spend on the messageboard of the green cheek has more to do with than youre letting on about the reasons for the extent of your outrage at the moment though. Youre spewing blood fantasising about a newco that might never happen. Its your money , youre well within your rights to let the extent of your hate for Rangers weigh up against your love for Motherwll when it comes to how you spend it , spare us the "I'm how a Motherwell fan should be" patter in the future though if you aint paying your way on a point of choice at a time when MFC is all but begging the fans for their cash -
Aye imagine supporting yer club in a meaningful fashion The internet is where the backing is really needed Goooooooooo Cyber'Well

A queue out the door earlier today when i passed and seemed constant enough yesterday when i was up getting mine and then up that way again later in the day. We must have near as many free ST holders now as we do paying.Have we had a match where theres been a shortage of tickets yet since the Wellevate or free Cooper kids schemes came in ? This place should be good if a small Europa allocation gets gobbled up by free kids season ticket holders in a ballot Heres hoping that come these Fir Park European nights when the old place will be crackling with atmosphere those whos support is dependent on the currant buns scenario are stuck behind a pole and sitting themselves or tucked away in a boring corner of the South with folk who dont know if we're the ones in Claret and Amber or the other ones.
-
If A happens i'll renew. If B happens i wont. Im waiting to see what happens to decide whether to support my club or not , if they dont do what i want then i wont. But it wont be a protest or a boycott. But i will post about it on here every 5 minutes and will still be on here as Motherwell's greatest fan as really its the attention im after

If he doesnt go to the games it certainly will make his observations, thoughts and opinions less valid than those that do. In theory of course In reality those on this forum who act like Mother Goose sitting tapping furiously away in their living rooms on their keyboard with their head probes telling those actually at the games what to wear , what to sing and what players are playing well will still see themselves as the Fathers of the Motherwell support , the oracles of all knowledge and the first to petulantly stamp their feet when they dont get a personal letter from Leeann Dempster over their petted lipped threats to boycott .
-
The Samaritans are constantly engaged with the news about you holding out on your Season Ticket , nobody can get through.
-
Only proper that this is on Club Chat as well. At the going down of the sun and in the morning ...
-
Has it been confirmed that Fir Park meets or will be brought up to the required catagory for Champions League ?
-
Aw naw Thank fuck 3rd place is sewn up , your absence mightve been the killer blow to our hopes
-
Well played the stewards and Old Bill who played their part , in the face of decapitation by a stray shoe. Is it so hard to leave folk alone who arent causing any harm ?
-
I'll be getting one , doesnt matter where Rangers end up , if Lennon is allowed free reign to be a law to himself or if Hearts pay their players and tax bills on time. Should be easy to get a ticket for Europe next season with the boycotters but im thinking a ST is a nice wee bit of insurance.
-
Was right beside them , making it the family section seemed to have helped although it appeared that a few had pulled a stroke on that front. Never seen any police which doesnt seem to me a good idea , them being in party mood wouldve helped and mightve been a major factor as the wee ginger laddie down in front of me who gave them an earful of what they are mightve recieved a slap on another day if they were losing. Well said Ginger if you're reading

"Sack the board sack the board sack the board" A healthy support through that day

Celtic are untouchable , Lennon has ran onto the park at Easter Rd and grabbed a Hibs player , booted a bottle into the crowd at Inverness and has regularly brought the game into disrepute with his comments. Like the Jennings incident Loony chooses not to see any of it. Didnt miss a player celebrating scoring a goal though. Were those foul / booking stats in anyone elses favour there would be a stampede from the great unwashed for clarification , maybe even vilification of officials to the point that they went on strike - the SFA would have to take action then , wouldnt they ... ? Hypocritical Corrupt cowards.
-
So in the event of them going into liquidation , which very probably wont happen and them then being reinstalled penalty free , which wouldnt happen as numerous from Doncaster to Yorkston have already said you're all just fighting to get to the front of the queue to desert MFC just in case ?
-
Did you all have to think long and hard about the morality of the thing about going back to Fir Park after we bumped a long list of folk with 30 pence in the pound ? Do you still perform 20 minutes of self-flagellation each match day before leaving the house ?

You suggesting that the Estonian saved his job ?

Woohoo ! Full Statement PRESS INFORMATION on behalf of RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB ADMINISTRATORS’ STATEMENT WEDNESDAY, 7 MARCH 2012 Duff & Phelps, the Administrators of Rangers Football Club, today issued the following statement. Paul Clark, Joint Administrator, said: “As regards the Club playing in European competitions next season, there is no realistic prospect of the Club being able to fulfil its obligations prior to the March 31 deadline set by UEFA. “There are four main reasons for this and they lie in the stewardship of the Club prior to going into administration. First, as we have stated from the outset, the likelihood of the Club being able to emerge successfully from administration before this deadline as indicated by the Chairman was, at best optimistic given the perilous financial situation at the Club at the time of insolvency. “Second, the company accounts cannot realistically be signed off by auditors in a manner that would meet the criteria required by the footballing authorities. Even if the audited financial statements are issued prior to the end of March 2012 we would expect them to be qualified by the auditors such that under UEFA requirements the Club will have to satisfy a going concern test confirming how it will continue to be funded until the end of next season. Without knowing who will be the owner of the Club at 31 March, it is impossible to provide suitable comfort in this respect. “Thirdly under UEFA regulations the Club must have paid or come to a satisfactory settlement with all social taxes that were outstanding at 31 December 2011. We estimate those social taxes (being PAYE and NIC) to be at least £5m. We cannot now see a scenario where those taxes will have been paid or compromised to the satisfaction of HMRC by the end of March 2012. “The final major hurdle is that the Club must have paid or compromised all of its outstanding "Football Creditors" prior to the deadline of 31 March 2012. That issue is again extremely unlikely. “As administrators, we will make every effort to seek dispensation from the footballing authorities given the extraordinary circumstances in which the Club has been placed. “There has, perhaps inevitably, been speculation about Rangers Football Club facing liquidation. As we have stated previously, we remain very confident that Rangers will not cease to exist and the team will continue to play at Ibrox. “If a Company Voluntary Arrangement is not possible for any particular reason, any buyer of the Club and its assets would complete that purchase through a sale by the Administrators allowing the Football Club to continue to operate with the old company then being placed into liquidation prior to dissolution. “We are, however, doing our best to ensure the Company trades viably during administration and this will require a rigorous cost-cutting programme. Our preferred option remains to reach a point where a Company Voluntary Arrangement is reached and the Club can emerge from administration as a viable business within its existing corporate shell. As stated there is a possibility that if a new buyer is identified a financial case may be made to sell the business and assets of the old company, but that is not our preferred approach at this time. “We are aware of the statement from Mr King. We note his comments regarding the Ticketus arrangements but as this issue is subject to ongoing discussion and examination, it would be inappropriate for us to comment further.” ENDS) 7 March 2012 For further information please contact:

From reading (trying to) the SFA rules it looks like the 31st March isn't the deadline after all ? April the 8th and they could even ask for an extension to that as well The bits in bold being the relevant bits ... 4.2.5 Review licence applicant Activity and Prepare Report to Licensing Committee. LM will review licence applicant activity as a consequence of the audit visit and seek guidance from experts where necessary. Licence applicant will be asked to redress where relevant. LM will prepare the Club Licensing Report for the Committee (a controlled document) “Committee Report” following updates from the licence applicant and the experts and this will be dispatched to the licence applicant, experts and the Licensing Committee prior to the meeting of the Licensing Committee. Licence applicant will be given sufficient time between the circulation of this report and the meeting of the Licensing Committee for the submission of comments that will be placed before the Licensing Committee. Licence applicant will be required to provide a written submission within 7 days before the Licensing Committee meeting intimating whether any events of major economic importance have occurred that may need to be taken into account (Article 51 of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations). Non- conformities involving UEFA mandatory criteria will be specified and the licence applicant advised of the outcome of failing to meet the rigid deadlines in place. This deadline for licence applicant’s to submit information that meets the UEFA requirements shall be 8 April. Any deviations beyond 8 April will be reviewed by the Licensing Committee at its April meeting. This deadline date will comprise part of the “Club Report” template and will be communicated clearly to the licence applicants throughout the process. 4.2.6 Licensing Committee Meet and Review LM will ensure that the procedure “Management for the Decision Making Bodies” as detailed in the Quality Manual is adhered to. LM will ensure the following – • That the licence applicant has been provided with a deadline date for the submission of information. In the case of the UEFA documents this will be 8 April (unless an earlier date is stipulated by the Scottish FA during the licensing process). • That the licence applicant has been given the opportunity of being represented at the Licensing Committee meeting if there are items on the “Committee Report” that may lead to a refusal of a UEFA Licence award. Licensing Committee determine the award based upon the criteria, information provided on the “Committee Report”, feedback from the licence applicant and the recommendations of the LM and Experts Licensing Committee will review the “Committee Report” in relation to the licence applicant meeting the terms of the UEFA requirements and will decide whether the licence applicant meets the minimum requirements or not. If it does not, the licence applicant will not be eligible for admittance to the UEFA Club Competitions or will be sanctioned in accordance with UEFA requirements. Licensing Committee will provide the licence applicant with an explanation of the reasons for its decision as well as timescales, where relevant, to address variances from criteria. LM shall communicate the decision to the licence applicant within five days of the decision. If relevant, the licence applicant will be provided with a copy of the Appeals procedure at that time. It should be noted that the Licensing Committee will normally meet in April to review club applications. Earlier referrals during the licensing season are however permissible in cases where the LM determines relevant. 4.2.7 Appellate Tribunal LM will not sit on the Appellate Tribunal but will ensure that the procedure “Management for the Decision Making Bodies” as detailed in the Quality Manual is adhered to. Appeals procedures are as detailed in the Articles of Association. 4.2.8 Key Dates in the Process The process starts with the meeting of Review Body and ends on submission of the list of licensing decisions to UEFA. June/July 2011 - Meeting of Review Body. August – December 2011 - Approval of the Board and documents dispatched to licence applicants. December 2011 - 31 March 2012- Return of Licence applicant documents and their following assessment by the LM as well as the designated experts. 31 March 2012- Return of all documentation from the licence applicant unless an earlier date is specified. 8 April 2012- Final submission date for licence applicants for all documents relating to the UEFA criteria unless exceptional dispensation has been agreed by the Licensing Committee 15 April 2012– Scottish FA to communicate to UEFA the possibility of an SFL club qualifying for any of the UEFA Club Competitions. 20 - 30 April 2012- Licensing Committee meets to consider all licence applications. NB The written representation to the SFA as detailed in the Financial Section 8.1.6 must be submitted a minimum of 7 days prior to the date set for the meeting of the Licensing Committee and this is highlighted in the “Club Report” to licence applicants following the audit. 5 - 25 May 2012- Appellate Tribunal meets to consider any licence applicant appeals. 31 May 2012– Scottish FA to provide UEFA with its list of licensing decisions 4.2.9 The Process of Admission of an SFL club to the UEFA Club Competitions This is specified in Article 15 and Annex IV of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations

I said it was admirable ? Theres plenty goes on within the Motherwell support that i dont agree with. It doesnt make whoevers doing it less of a Motherwell fan than me or anyone else though especially if they've paid £50 and im sitting in the house pontificating from the laptop. Folk who find the Union flag inflammatory are the ones who have the problem IMO. I dont think this is the thread for it , im out.
-
So you hate the Union Flag , that makes your intolerance of others excusable how ? Thats rhetorical Its for another thread
-
I hope the guys are thoroughly ashamed of themselves and take stock of the sermon that the real Motherwell fans who weren't there give them.
