Mair wasn't on the bench but given that Connolly got recalled and the club put a statement out saying Connolly would soon be going back to EK it could have been for personal reasons

You're entitled to your view, absolutely but there's always going to be stories - I personally know someone who has connections at the club and they said that there were issues with SOD and Alexander - but they thought Alexander was the issue - maybe the bigger point should be what goes on in the club should stay there. Same with the Casey stuff last week

I would personally be very surprised if SOD has an attitude. If you see him at events like calendar signings - he spends a ridiculous amount of time with the young fans, why would you do that if you don't care about the club- this is all just conjecture the same way the Casey stuff last week was.

Yes they do - but I can't remember the last time I saw any club doing it - I don't think that was what the poster earlier meant. They were looking for a statement saying he was going to be getting punted

It's not up to me to arrange it - it's down to the well society - they've already phoned me over it but they make the decision on when it's to take place.

I personally don't think that's fair. By all accounts there were issues between SOD and Alexander but from what people who are connected with the club have suggested is that SOD wasn't treated very well by Alexander and wanted out. He wasn't playing for a chunk under Alexander - I don't think that's the same as downing tools. How can you down tools when you aren't getting a game. Also - if people did down tools under Hammell - they did it as a collective. It clearly wasn't just one player. Liam Kelly went on TV saying the players let Alexander down - after the Sligo games - how can any of that be pinned on one player? Where is the evidence that SOD had issues with Robbo and Hammell? The entire team didn't turn up at the Raith game - if players had an issue with Hammell and he lost the dressing room it wasn't just SOD to blame

There's only going to be a statement if he walks or is sacked or they decide mutually that it's time for him to go.

I think thats a bit unnecessary. People defending him to the end or not as the case may be won't make the slightest bit of difference as to whether he walks or gets sacked.

Apparently Casey was raging last week and had words with Kettlewell after the game - source someone on pie and bov I think - don't know any more than that.

I didn't say anything about the team being better off - I just said that he's started from the bench before.

Apparently Connolly has been recalled as an emergency and will be going back to Ek shortly - assume there must be personal reasons for Mair not playing today

I've never said that I think he's never made a mistake - I've also said on more than one occasion that I completely understand that some people are very unhappy just now. They have the right to express that - and some people have - on and offline. People have the right to be angry. I wasn't at the game last week but if people are unhappy and don't want to go today - I get it.
