My mums birthday. We went down and laid flowers at Fir Park. Managed to find a florist that did almost Claret and Amber flowers. I still remember finding out that he had signed for us - from recollection my boyfriend at that time had a pal who was a Rangers fan and he was fuming that he had left them. I remember being at Tannadice and leaving when it was all over or so we thought and we scored in injury time I'm sure and there were fights all over the place - maybe 1994 or 1995? Cup game maybe. I could be wrong and it might have been a league game but was there with my brother and when we scored it got quite ugly with their fans. (I'm now thinking I've made this up but Im sure I was at Tannadice where we scored very late on and their fans didn't take it well). I remember walking to the bus to go home and hearing that we had scored then it all kicked off with their fans Think it was 1993 having looked up the scores. League game

The daily mail believe it or not have called Carver out for the comments made about Lennon. Don't think Lennon did anything wrong. He was asked a question and he answered it and I think John McGinn could have been a bit more supportive but didn't throw Lennon under the bus

Like loads of players. Go look at the Motherwell facebook any given day and you'll see people slagging SOD off left right and centre - obviously other people get slated too but he gets a lot of stick - just my view. You don't need to agree

Yeah I do - but this is his sixth season for us. I think he gets a lot of unnecessary stick that others don't get

I've never seen anything that suggested SOD had an appearance based option. I thought it was 12 months with the option of another 12 same as Slattery - pretty sure McGinn was on the same terms Actually having googled it looks like it would be triggered after a certain number of appearances - but the official site didn't say this - was an interview with him that made that clear

I believe both SOD and Slats had a contract ending this year but had a twelve month option which the club have obviously triggered

He said twice in his post match interview that Motherwell fans were abusing his injured player - prick!

I texted my brother last night to ask him about the Motherwell fans shouting abuse at the player who was stretchered off - and his exact words were - he got clapped off. The interview I saw was just Robbo saying that our fans were giving abuse to the injured player - he's just talking shite all over the place clearly. He said people can say anything they like without consequences. Apparently some Motherwell fans were upset at the length of time it took to get the injured player treated and he's used it against us. Prick.
