I don't think we are going to be in the play off position. Someone said earlier that we only need another 6 points for safety. It is tough but it's the same as last year. When you are on a downwards trajectory you can't catch a break - I'm sure we will pull ourselves out of it. I'm on the wine too

I asked my brother last week if he thought we would get rid of Kettlewell if we lost today and he pulled a face and said don't be ridiculous - and he's a bigger Kettlewell critic than I am. The last thing we need right now is to be paying off yet another manager

I completely understand where you are coming from. But we have 9 players out and a new goalie - it might have been different if Ox was in goals I hope so is the answer If Casey did call him out he's taken long enough. I'm not a fan of rumours - and Im concerned personally that if a conversation of that type took place someone has leaked it - at a time where we don't need disharmony

I honestly don't know what you are going on about at this point. You said that I was going in on you when I had responded to you once before tonight. Then you said I needed to get out more - and now you are trying to defend Dan Casey based on "rumours" from pie and bov. I mean come on - you're saying that I base things on what I read - you're doing the same. Believing the pie and bov posts I personally don't think me supporting motherwell should be any greater or lesser whether I've played football or not. You don't like Kettlewell and that's why you've latched onto the pie and bov "rumours" - but that is completely your perogative I mean come on - we surely can't be getting into the realms of someone on pie and bov said it so it must be true. The players need to look at themselves as much as Kettlewell and that will be the hill I die on I'll also defend the right of anyone to their opinion - but at the moment it seems like if you do like Kettlewell - your opinion isn't welcome

I actually really like Dan Casey in a lot of ways but if he's in Kettlewells face at half time that's a liberty. Considering how many times he's been caught out this season - it is just rumour though. I think there's a few people on pie and bov who like to play up to the I know something you don't

People have the right to criticise. I personally just don't want to see someone chased out the way Alexander was. It seems no one is good enough for us at times and before I get rinsed. I've been watching Motherwell for decades and I understand peoples frustration

I think Casey should pipe down tbh. Particularly given that he took long enough to decide to sign on with us again. If you have issues with your manager - keep it private

I actually don't have it in for you. I think I've responded to two of your posts. I need to get out more - you're making this personal. Not me.. Ps I would love to get out more but I shattered my leg to pieces less than a year ago and getting to fir park has been challenging enough. I don't have issues with anyone on here - it's fine to disagree surely

But that's just rumour on pie and bov and that was my point. Nothing more than that. I just don't like to see someone being kicked all over the place (this isn't aimed at you). If Kettlewell goes fair enough but in two years time I can guarantee you folk will be shouting for the next person to go if they don't meet our standards

I don't know why you would see us getting into Europe as negative tbh. It's not all about going abroad and drinking - it's a boost for any club

With respect. I disagree. He's got every right to call refs out for bad decisions. And I don't see him as being a darling of the media either. He gets criticism all over social media. I do hope he turns it around but if not I pity the next person who takes the job - he'll get the same treatment in time

I don't have any more questions for you. Casey has been a bombscare at times. As have other defenders. Are you seriously trying to say that when defenders get caught out at a goal it's all on tactics. Come on. Yeah - Kettlewell has his faults - but he's not the only person at fault here - funny that the players always seem to get a free pass. Him signing Bair won't guarantee his job - Bair is gone. But I think people need to be realistic. Do folk think we are going to sack a manager at this stage in the season when we are fifth. Irrespective of how badly we are playing just now

Seriously. You don't like the guy - that's obvious. But why on earth would you think that Casey is going to be having a go at Kettlewell just because of "rumours" on pie and bov. I like Casey but he's made enough mistakes of his own over the piece.

I was asking someone why they thought him having signed Bair who has moved on would keep him in a job if we were terrible. I don't see Kettlewell talking about Bair right now

With respect why would him signing Bair - who has moved on keep him at Motherwell if he's not producing the goods. I completely agree that most of the players need to have a look at themselves too

Im completely gutted that we lost today - just because I'm not sitting calling for Kettlewell to go doesn't mean that I'm not - and with respect to anyone with a different opinion - me typing my opinion on a Motherwell forum won't make one bit of difference as to whether he stays or goes - that's down to the board. BTW - if he does go. I hope the next manager does a better job or in two years time he'll be off too - however I'm sure said managers know that football is transitional and that's what they risk when they take the job
