Luca Ross to Annan on loan till January
-
That's him announced
-
But does he live in a house.. A very big house in the country? (Oasis were robbed in my view of the number one).
-
🤣🤣🤣. They'll just need to go and watch football at a club that will let them in on their own (the gigs will sell out in 3 minutes anyway) 🤣
-
Not been formally announced by the club yet but Vale is apparently on his way back on loan - sports journalist just tweeted that deal has been agreed.
-
Some stewards seem to be turning teens away if they cant show they are 14.
-
If you go to the ticketing information for our next game there's a bit that says that 13 years olds and unders have to be accompanied by an adult
-
Im not 100 per cent sure but I think a pass ID card or a young Scot card is sufficient for ID. Part of the issue does seem to come from over zealous stewarding - maybe a reminder from the club for young fans to bring ID with them.
-
I didn't post what I posted as an "example". I was responding to another poster. My wee brother started going to Fir Park and away games at the age of 8 (with my mum). I'm quite aware how important it is to get fans engaged young.
-
I agree. Man u and Liverpool have exactly the same rules as us.
-
It's not just about protecting the club - it's about safeguarding young people surely. As for there not being a consistent standard - that must be down to the SFA
-
When I googled earlier today it said under 13s - for some reason I have trouble posting attachments on here - always says the size is too big
-
I'd say no to KVV... But I might waver. However I don't think we could afford him
-
Youre right. Misread your post sorry
-
Man U and Liverpool have the same rules as we have so you're probably right. It's up to the individual club
-
Good for you.👏👏 The point I was trying to make is that we aren't the only spl club with this age limit. BTW. I agree with you on the over zealous stewarding
-
No. It's under 14s that can't go to a game on their own.
-
Rangers are 13 and under. It's not just Motherwell.
-
Yes that is correct. It's 13 and unders that need to be accompanied and that's on the website for our next home game.
-
I think it's very unlikely that he'll be back with us. I also think that ship has sailed and we don't need him. Good luck to him but I don't think we'll be looking at him somehow
-
It didn't say but I assume it's home fans. The first set of figures are on the Scottish govt website. It looks like it's home fans. The stats were also broken down to the point that apparently at Feb 2018 there was one active banning order at MFC. Someone made an FOI request for the Govt figures and the second is from a daily express article. Although the newspaper article said numbers could rise as cases were processed.
-
I can't link this as I'm on my phone and not a desktop but according to stats that are on the Scottish govt website Motherwell banned 13 fans in a ten year period. And we banned 4 from the season 2017/18 to 2020/21. The second lot of figures was from the Daily Express but that's all that a Google search showed up for me. Other people will be able to find out other stats I'm sure. (I was just curious to know, that's why I googled).
-
I assume it's an SFA ruling. I assume the way it works at Motherwell and some other clubs is that if you are under 14 you have to be accompanied by an adult but if you are 14 or over you can go to a game alone - the issue seems to be when 14 year olds have bought tickets and have been refused entry because they can't show proof of age. Some UK clubs don't allow under 16s and over 14s to buy a ticket unless there's an adult ticket bought at the same time.
-
Derek has just posted on pie and bov to say it's because when someone is charged with a football related offence they direct the club to ban them - some people have apparently been issued bans even though they haven't been charged and some fans even when the case has been thrown out due to lack of evidence are still banned from Fir Park - more than that but that's the jist of it.
-
Surely people don't need to be told what's overstepping the mark and what isn't. I've been going to games regularly since I was 18. They aren't kids. They might be young but they aren't children Btw I'm not disagreeing with your post but surely all fans have to do is go in the stadium watch the game and leave. It there are genuine issues then the club the bois and the society need to sort it because this isn't doing Motherwell as a club any favours I'm also not trying to make light of the fact that they have genuine issues either. It just needs sorted or it makes our club look completely amateur.
