  1. Kilmarnock beat them on the first day of the season and they drew with Aberdeen in November. Don't think any other SPL club has had a result against them apart from Celtic.
  2. Have the well society said they want to put forward a proposal?
  3. Rangers have lost 4 this season and Celtic two. Not many teams have managed to pick up a result against them. Similar stats last season. If Motherwell don't have bottle by definition that's a label you could place on a good few other spl teams.
  4. I believe that there have been face to face sessions (focus groups)with the well society at Fir Park over the last six weeks and they've been advertised on Twitter by Phil Speedie.
  5. Exactly this. Which is why I voted the way I did.
  6. If they can afford it. This is the issue for me. I can afford to give to the well society but probably wouldn't be able to afford shares. That's just me though and my own financial situation
  7. I would prefer option one. Simply because I know we are a selling club and always have been. But we are still struggling even so.
  8. This is just speculation and in my view it's not helpful at all.
  9. Where's the source for this if you don't mind me asking. How can we raise two million. Huge ask in my view given the well society fan numbers currently paying into the club.
  10. I've been paying a fiver a month by direct debit since I joined. I have never been asked to pay a lump sum. It does not ask you to pay a lump sum on joining and hasn't for a long time now. I've been a member for six years now I personally don't think people are buying a vote for a fiver. There has to be a balance between people who can pay a lump sum and people who can't afford to.
  11. I completely agree. Seriously. I'm at the point where I just want someone to invest in Motherwell. The fan model isn't working right now and I support it and pay into it.
  12. I think we have bottle. I don't think we capitulated to Celtic the last twice we lost at Fir Park. In fact given that we always seem to avoid relegation sometimes by the skin of our teeth I think that's one thing Motherwell has.

Possibly because they dont have the money to put into the club that we need. I completely agree with your view but right now I just want investment in the club because we badly need it. I support the well society but it isn't enough in my view

They used to do this if you bought a season ticket. There would be a discount book on the back. However some companies also give discount to season ticket holders and don't promote it as well as they could. When I was a member of nl leisure I had no idea having a season ticket would have got me a discount.
  15. Well as long as it's sorted for the next vote that's the main thing.. not trying to say what happened was ok but seems to be more than one person who didn't get all the emails.
  16. Surely though the percentage given in the email was of the people eligible to vote. The junior members will have been taken out of the equation before that percentage was calculated.
  17. I would expect turnout was low for a few reasons tbh. I got the email. I voted. I also spoke to one of the well society board privately - not over this issue, something else. I completely get the point you are making - and personally I think that efforts are being made to engage with fans now face to face - but this could have happened a lot sooner. And yes. I agree that at home games is the way to do it as well - because folk are already going to watch the match as opposed to going to a meeting on a midweek night. The bottom line is for me at least - this was about the future of my clubs investment, so I voted. I expect more people will vote when there's more information about the investment options (that's just my opinion though).
  18. We don't know - but surely the Society can clarify.
  19. People had the option to vote and some clearly didn't take it. I personally don't think that should make the outcome of the vote less valid.
