  1. I've been a member for several years now. I pay the minimum contribution just now because I haven't been able to up it. Part of the issue surely is that the Society only have 3800 members. Which isn't bad given our fan base but we need more members or people like me to up their contributions. Which I will do as soon as I can.
  2. Just making the point that I think the club has been struggling since we got rid of Alexander. I'm very much behind Kettlewell.
  3. I think the communication hasn't been up to much before Alan left.
  4. It was a yes or no vote no? No other options?
  5. I like Kettlewell a lot. Just hope he keeps us up. I think the club made a huge mistake with the Hammell appointment. It was the sentimental choice and he was too inexperienced in my view.
  6. We've been on a downward trajectory since we got rid of Alexander in my view. Not least since we had to pay him off. Then Hammell too. I feel sorry for Kettlewell. I honestly do. Like. We were fifth in the table when Alexander left. To me that's worrying and look at how we've been doing since. It's ok to disagree. I just personally think that a lot of fans are shouting at Kettlewell when it's not necessarily him they are upset with. Like. Obika gave an interview today and as soon as it was put up you had folk going pish. Shite. And yeah that's how they feel. I've just never seen it this bad for a long time.
  7. Not just that. It's at the stage where the club posts anything on twitter or Facebook and some fans are out shouting at everything. I'm not talking about folks right to have a say. It's just the constant creeping negativity that's getting on my every last nerve. And some of it is just over the top. I'm sick of it. It's been like this since folk wanted Alexander out. Kettlewell can't even give a media interview without being called out and personal comments made.
  8. Goodwin wasn't sacked when Utd went down. So personally I don't think it's just simples. But you can disagree. Completely your PEROGATIVE
  9. Why would he have to be sacked if we got relegated? Not all clubs who are relegated take that view.
  10. To be fair the clubs statement wasn't very well worded so I was wondering but there's an interview with him this morning saying he knew the terms of the contract. It's on Facebook. Possibly twitter as well. They tend to put the longer interviews on the Facebook page
  11. He knew. He said that today when he was interviewed. But it wasn't down to him to announce it in my view
  12. Only wasted on posts from the folk who don't like Kettlewell surely?
  13. I'm sure the person running the club twitter account is more than aware about some fans views on Kettlewell given the slagging off he gets every time they post a tweet up. Particularly when the team selection goes up on match day. His after match interviews. Hes been getting slagged off all over twitter for months now - I'd be astonished if the club didn't know some fans views on him. I'm a member of the Well Society by the way and have been for years now. I do understand the importance of fans being kept in the loop.
  14. Personally I don't think it's the club's job to monitor forums to seek out discussion about Kettlewell. Some people like him and want him to stay and some people dont. Its personally no skin off my nose that this announcement wasn't made sooner. I actually miss the days where I just turned up to watch Motherwell and went home without all this noise going on (social media). I dont think it's up to fans to dictate who stays and who goes - this isn't directed at you btw. I just feel that there was a lot of clamour to get Alexander out, he went - and that we've been on a downward spiral ever since. It's also fine if people don't agree with me.
  15. I completely agree. Apparently the entire board and Kettlewell have to get to fuck according to some people on social media.
  16. Tbh I find his newsletters really depressing and I can't be bothered reading them anymore
  17. Graeme McGarry from the Herald has tweeted saying the statement looks as if Kettlewell didn't know his contract was being extended - it's just a poorly worded statement clearly
  18. The official statement from the club said that they apologised to the fans and Stuart for not communicating the terms of the extension last year....so it's possible he did know he was being kept on. It's pretty ambiguous and it doesn't explain much at all. Tbh it will come as no suprise to folk that I'm happy with this as I'm his number one fan. 😂. It's all just a bit odd. I dunno. It's just more of a shit show at a time we don't need it in my view
  19. It's nuts on there ... The we hate Kettlewell club. Most people on that page don't sound like they support the club at all .. but they probably do. Facebook is just weird full stop at times
  20. I personally don't care that much about the Kettlewell contract issue not being made aware to fans. It's more concerning that he didn't seem to know which is how it's being suggested on social media. By the way. That isn't me saying it doesn't matter that fans weren't kept in the loop. But apparently he wasn't aware. If that is true that is grim.
  21. I said the same thing a while back. He's a nice guy in my view and tbh I can't criticise him for that but there's been defeats where you can see he's been hurting but he's not slated the players .. and I commend him for that. I think he needs to start booting doors off hinges ... metaphorically of course but there's always a fine line. How to kick backsides without lowering morale. But they need to be kicked. I'd have smashed the dressing room to bits months ago .. that is why I'm not a football manager.. that and because I wouldn't have the first clue how to do his job (obvs).
  22. That's fine. I've just had enough. (I won't explain why. Would take way too long). A season out might do me good. Night all.
