It does need sorted but I'm not going to lose sleep over it. We are fan owned and there's at least one member of the well society board who is very supportive of the well bois - so why has this been allowed to rumble on for so long. I personally thought the atmosphere was fine today - it does need sorted but it should have been long before now by the looks of it.

He's a great guy as well. A couple of years ago when I was at the calender signing he spent so much time with the kids - I've always had a huge soft spot for him and I'm glad he's finding form. There's always been a v good player in there - confidence really I think

Im really happy for him -because not so long ago some fans were booing him when he was coming on

I think SOD is a very underrated player who plays his heart out for Motherwell. I know he's had his wobbles along the way but he's always been a decent footballer in my view

My uncle died 6 months before we won the cup in 91. It's hard. He would have loved it. I wish he had lived to see it. He took me to Scotland games before I went to Motherwell games Sorry for your loss.

I wasn't trying to suggest that this was the issue this time - sorry if my post looked like that. Just that there had been issues in previous times. The thing is though - I don't have a clue what the issue is. Is it to do with the use of pyro?

I don't know either tbh - they didn't say much at the time but that might have been for legal reasons.

There were some Motherwell fans who said they were targeted by police - subjected to dawn raids around Christmas 2022 and the statement that went out at that time I believe said that this happened with the support of the club. Facilitated in association with Motherwell fc is what the statement said. I'm sure I saw tweets saying some fans were arrested - but that's all I saw around that time.

Its not the fault of the well society but how do you think you are going to put the proposed plan you have into action when people couldn't be bothered voting for new board members. I voted. I'll always exercise that right -but the turnout is concerning. I also think you need to engage the members who don't do social media. Because some dont Particularly people who don't do here or twitter or check their email regularly. Apathy though is a huge issue

I actually will be more than happy to volunteer for the well society going forward and it was something I was planning to do - just before I broke my leg. It's going to be potentially up to a two year recovery - which makes things a bit difficult - but hopefully not impossible. Id also be more than happy to talk to anyone who thinks we might be able to get fans overseas involved and see where we go from there. Am sure the folk who think it's viable could chat over zoom or something similar.

No.. The MFC beer garden 🤣. Club 100 is where I normally go.. I only knew about the one behind the POD stand when someone posted on here.

I was there not that long before kick off, about half one- there were tables with stools but didn't think it was as many as 10/12. Most people were standing as it was fairly busy. That was the first time I had been so didn't know what to expect (it's only because I'm recovering from a fracture that it's an issue - I actually went and sat in the wee garden area).

Motherwell have a you tube channel. Just needs to reach potential fans.

I get that but why shouldn't we encourage fans from other countries to get involved with us. Doesn't need to be a global brand. There are a few people on here who live in the US. I think we should be encouraging fans from all over the world

Absolutely. I thought both American candidates were impressive and I would like to think the well society will work with them at some point

Surely if there are Motherwell fans like Chris then there could be other Motherwell fans all over the world. Look at the amount of fans who post on Facebook because of Bevis and the new boy we signed last week
