  1. Doesn't specify on the official site apart from to say ticket office is open until 8pm on Thursday.
  2. Not confirmed apparently http://www.rivals.net/news/pgarticle.aspx?...97273&id=88
  3. That it would be played at their own ground, however, that could have been on there since the draw was announced, I thought that Motherwell were going to discuss this on Thursday with Llanelli.
  4. Was that not already on their website? Thought that Motherwell and llanelli would be discussing this on Thursday.
  5. I understand why you would feel that way and if you supported the team as much as you do and then lost out of course you would be cheesed off but, if you allocate a points system you split the support into different tiers and for a lot of different reasons there are people who can't get to away games but might want to see the team in Europe. The thing is as well, at the beginning of every season, you don't know how the team are going to do, but the club would be setting some sort of system in place, if you collect x amounts of points from going to certain away games and buying merchandise just in case we get into Europe. It's easier for fans say in retrospect that there should be a points system because we have qualified again and possibly there might be a shortage of tickets. When tickets are in short supply there is no system that is going to be in place that will be 100 per cent fair to everyone, hopefully the game will be played at the bigger stadium and people won't miss out. The furthest I'm travelling to see Motherwell in Europe is Airdrie but I hope that everyone who is going to Wales and wants a ticket gets it.
  6. Or the people who went to Nancy, or the people who went to Inverurie..... there is no way the club are going to give preference to people who are going to go to a tie that we haven't even qualified for. It's not a competition.
  7. Which won't matter if JB decides he is the man for the job.
  8. Nice one Millennium Club Membership Highlights * Your own designated seat for the season in the Directors’ Box for all home games. * First Cup match at Fir Park * Complimentary drinks in the Millennium bar before and after the game. * Complimentary match-day Programme and Team-Sheets * Half time refreshments * Selection and presentation of the Young Man of the Match award. * Light snacks on arrival and prior to the match
  9. Flow If you look on the 2008/09 season ticket price list on the official site, the only season ticket price that seems to have changed from last year to this is the Cooper family ticket. Last year the regulation price was listed at £355 and £320 for the offer. It's listed now as at £335 and £301.50 for the offer. So the person who started the thread maybe doesn't realise the ticket price has dropped. Only took me a day to work that one out.
  10. The official site must have the wrong information on then. It says the price before the discount is £355 and £301.50 after.
  11. I thought all prices had been frozen from last years. Said so in the letter that Boyle sent out. The early bird on the family season in the Cooper seems a bigger discount than the rest. If you bought it before the end of May it was £301.5 compared to £355 after, that's more than a 10 per cent discount.
  12. I went to school with him as well. I remember him being signed on an S form for Motherwell and his family being Motherwell fans but I don't know about him. I've heard he supports Rangers, I've also heard he supports Motherwell. Anyway who cares, wouldn't matter if he was Motherwell's number one fan, he's not concerned about what we do anymore, time to move on.
  13. When someone is buying a concession for the first time, or someone is a student it makes sense that you need to show proof that you are entitled. But for someone over 60, it's not as if they are going to get younger as the years go on. Particularly if you are a Well fan. Maybe the powers that be who are listening to the fans will explain why that happened.
  14. According to the Sun, Leitch was offered the Motherwell job but knocked it back.
  15. Were the ones that were bought before the early bird discount ran out not meant to be picked up? My mum paid for two and was told that they would be posted out, she then got a message to say she had to go in and collect them. I thought someone else had already posted that the ones bought before May 31st had to be collected from Fir Park.
  16. He's apparently on three hundred grand a year as it is, forget that. If he wants to stay at Motherwell then fine, if he wants to bugger off to Aberdeen that's his choice. Let's not bankrupt the club to keep him.
  17. So because some people might be offended that MFC have reported on their own official website that Bob Malcolm's new club are playing Celtic on the 12th of July the date has to be hidden. I could understand it if the article had made comments about it, but all that was being done was reporting facts. We are making a rod for our own backs if we feel that we can't mention the 12th of July without someone being offended. Which given some of the songs that are sung by certain supporters of the Old Firm is a bit rich, because they don't care who they might offend. The connotations that date has have nothing to do with MFC and as such, I don't see why it needed to be amended.
  18. The last day of the discount is Sunday and the ticket office is open from ten till two so you should still be able to pay for the ticket over the phone if the online system still isn't working properly for you.
  19. Didn't underachieve last season did he? Given that realistically we were never going to challenge for the title how much more could he have achieved?
  20. That was confiscated? Do MFC not grasp the fact that if visiting fans are treated poorly they might decide not to come back to Fir Park. If Old Firm fans can do what they like then why aren't MFC addressing this and letting fans know why it's one rule for one set of fans and another for another.
  21. The money from the sale of merchandise and the turf, is it being used for anything specific?
  22. If that money has to come from somewhere, why does it have to come from a budget earmarked from signing new players. If that work has been needing done for some time, why was money not put aside to deal with it? I'm not disputing that the work needs done but people are being asked to dig deep in hard times to fund the club and if there are going to be no new faces brought in, I think disappointed won't cover how fans feel. We struggled this season, I think most fans will have an idea about how we might play next season with no replacements for the players who will be going.
  23. Are there not schemes where schools can buy season tickets at discounted prices?
  24. Ah ok, mine weren't working earlier but they are back on now.
