    Betty Pryde

Very sad news, of course. Thoughts go out to her family and all her colleagues and friends at Fir Park. I've seen the name mentioned a few times on here. Was it very sudden, Flow ? R.I.P Betty
  2. I predicted six points, I just got the defeat wrong. It turned out to be Hibs, not Dundee United.
  3. Come on folks, every penny counts. Not far to go now
  4. So far so good. Another goal should seal the points
  5. Need you to have this won by half-time, if that's ok, as I also have a match to go to . I can listen to the first half, so a couple of early goals would be great
  6. Always comes across as an objective pundit whenever I've heard him, and that includes when his former teams are playing. He can string a sentence together, too, which isn't a skill a number of ex-players turned pundits have mastered.
  7. 3-0, as a couple of others have predicted. This fixture is a great opportunity for Motherwell to bounce back from the last game. There are lots of teamsheets here that only have one striker, though. Falkirk at home, surely two up top ?
  8. Congrats to the girls and best of luck to them out there. A great adventure for them.
  9. Not far short. Keep us updated with the latest total, I don't mind putting another tenner in, if you need it, and a few others might do the same. Get the best you best you possibly can.
  10. I've never won a penny from any half time draw at the football. The again, the most I've ever won in my life is a tenner on the lottery, so I shouldn't be surprised.
  11. Well done to him, a great achievement.
  12. Stop fucking posting that . Or at least post it since it's been daubed with red paint. Well done to Robyn for collecting the donations, just sending mine now. And well done to Kristoff and Well Ayrshire for their big donations. So much for the recession, eh moneybags
  13. If he takes the law into his own hands, he'll probably end up in even more trouble than the racist idiot. Doing nothing isn't acceptable, so what choice is there ?
  14. It's very early days in the Gannon era and he's shrewd enough to know what he needs. Rome wasn't built in a day, and all that. He'll be looking around for the best he can get within his budget, and there's also the fact that much of side are still learning to play together and relationships take time to form, particularly partnerships at centre forward and centre half. Improvements will ( or at least should ) occur naturally as players familiarise themselves with each other. There are a lot of youngsters who still have a lot of learning to do in his team.
  15. If you mean Fizoxy's post, I read what he said as the Hibs player's celebration not being a big deal, not racism
  16. I thought Busta was an admin on here ? What does an admin have to do to be banned ?
  17. There's never a justificiation for throwing things. We've seen a Man City player cut by a missile at Old Trafford last week and a steward knocked out at Eastlands the week before. I think Fizoxy makes a good point point about fans dishing it out but not being able to take it. Some players and managers are subjected to really nasty stuff from thousands, yet there is outrage if they react in even the tamest way. The Adebayor celebration towards the Arsenal fans was out of order, but they'd been screaming bile at him for the entire match, only for carnage to erupt when he got his own back. There's nothing wrong with banter between fans and players, but within certain boundaries. It just needs everyone to think about their actions, not difficult. By the way, Fizoxy, the next time you hear the mystery racist, do humanity a favour and let the old bill know.
  18. Great read, Steve, I enjoyed it. Bragg always seems a top guy. Are still involved with GLF or fanzines all these years on ?
  19. He was brilliant against Rangers, was he really that bad today ?
  20. Matt and Chris post ours down and they are always a good read. Got a couple of very early GLFs from 1990. Good read though much of it went over my head
  21. Very true. A new team comprised mainly of youngsters will inevitably have days when it doesn't work for them. But Gannon's team is moving in the right direction and will win more than they lose. Need to bounce back now.
  22. What's happening? Are 'Well throwing everything at them ?
  23. Nick one soon and it's game on. Need it asap, though
