  1. Hibs have come flying out of the traps. Huge task now.
  2. Put me down for a tenner too, and I look forward to seeing it when 'Well are on the telly.
  3. But this is a 'Well thread. I shall read on to catch the latest so post as many details as you can guys
  4. How's it going guys, is 1-1 a fair reflection ? I've got United on local radio so haven't heard the commentary. 'Well now with a chance to continue the unbeaten run.

Is the problem with the away shirt widespread ? I haven't got it, but haven't had any of the problems reported about the home shirt in this thread. Cracking shirt.
  6. Totally agree, big man, and the unemployed and those on other benefits should get in cheap too. I think it was mentioned on the forum before that St Mirren have a concession for the unemployed, and they deserve credit for that.
  7. Well done, Rocky, that was a great moment last weekend
  8. My eyes are burning The Motherwell one is MUCH better.
  9. 3-1 Motherwell and a happy birthday for Robyn
  10. You're right about my doubts about Owen as a player, wee yin,and who knows, perhaps I've underestimated what he has left in tank, but I never had a problem with him as an ex-Liverpool player. I can understand why Liverpool fans have a problem with it, I'd be the same in their shoes, but playing the scouse card isn't on. Where is Rooney from ? His goal against City was Owen in his pomp. Fair play, and if he can maintain that kind of impact, I'll gladly admit I wrote the guy off too soon. Twenty more of those this season would be lovely. He just might prove to be worth the big salary
  11. Very sad, lip. I was thrilled for him and have never had a problem with him joining United, and I don't understand why anyone else would. FWIW I didn't join in the booing of Tevez either. Fact is it's United's fault he left, we should have signed him sooner. The club had two years to sort it out. He was entitled to do what was best for him. Shows you how fickle football fans can be at times. Was a great game but terrible on the nerves.
  12. I can only apologise if you feel I'm being condescending, I can assure you it isn't intentional. But can I ask, is this something you believe should apply equally to all fans of other clubs or just Manchester United ? I hope this isn't the old chestnut about "arrogant United fans", because that really is condescending. Most who use that line don't even know any matchgoing fans. FWIW I have attended several SPL games - Easter Road, Tannadice and Celtic Park with friends who support those clubs. I'll take in a game anywhere if I can, Fir Park hasn't yet been possible, but it will come.
  13. Considering all the established players who left Fir Park over the summer, it makes Gannon's progress all the more remarkable. To have made an unbeaten start with last season's team would have been an achievement, but to do so with a completely new side is incredible. Can't praise him enough.
  14. Why would they have a problem with that ? I've been there once - it was a game against Rangers ( don't ask ) but those of us in the home sections had no problems with photos. We were in the Jerry Kerr upper, perhaps away fans get a tougher time.
  15. You are spot on, big stall. The Old Firm look so poor right now it gives a real chance to a manager who has the ability to produce a half decent side to really challenge them. Yes it would be against the odds, considering the disparity in size between them and the rest, but it's been done before and is possible. This is the perfect time to take them on, it just requires one club to find that bit of consistent quality. It probably won't happen, but there may never be a better time and who knows whether Gannon might just have that ability. It needs a top manager to break the stanglehold of the Old Firm, just as Alex Ferguson did.
  16. Great pics, mate. How many 'Well fans made the trip ?
  17. Now, now. I shall have the smelling salts ready, mate, should that night beneath the floodlights when Fir Park hosts a game in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ever come to pass. In fact, I'd need one of you to get me a ticket. Ankles is right, you must have a dream.
  18. I would love to be on this forum on the night of any Motherwell debut in the Champions League. A collective orgasm wouldn't begin to do justice to the excitement. I'd be sending Pm's all over the shop to the old hands to catch the mood. Some of you would be in the back of an ambulance before kick-off, oxygen mask held tightly to face. Of that there can be no doubt. It would be bedlam on here
  19. Surely Motherwell v Hearts can't be a local rivalry, big yin? Playing in the same country doesn't constitute local, regardless of any bad feeling between the teams. This is much the same as Manchester United and Arsenal. Surely local would mean Lanarkshire, or, at a push, the Old Firm ?
  20. Goalie gets man of the match, 'Well get the points. Having had to miss most of the commentary, I'm assuming it it was a smash and grab of a result ?
  21. I was listening online when, 25 minutes in, we had a local power cut. No electricity for the next three hours . Received a text about a penalty. Was it a fair shout, and what's the story of the TRIPLE save ?
  22. How many 'Well fans would you estimate to be at Tannadice ?
