  1. Spurs away, Saturday 5.15 on espn. What do you want me to do, lie for the sake of it ? I hope for a Motherwell win
  2. Melvin makes some very good points, but : The referee will ensure the Govan tramps get a penalty to win the game if struggling, I forsee a couple of tap ins ( possibly offside ) from a fat sweaty h*n in the closing stages.
  3. What's it got to do with you, you wee fucking knob. Internet hardman. I post on Red Issue, not that it's any of your business. Now fuck off before I tuen up at Fir Park and demand you play big man to my face. I know you're a middle aged man who wouldn't say boo to a goose, so stop being a dick.
  4. Ha ha, must be an echo from Sharon. Ye bassas
  5. If he takes it as a joke, fair enough. As long as that's really the case.
  6. In all seriousness, has delboyd seen this thread ? I don't know the guy from Adam but this all seems a bit cruel. Apologies for being such a big girl's blouse as we say in Manchester, but posting pics of someone who uses the site seems cruel, not matter how much of a tit some folk might think he is. Laughing at folk in this way seems a bit unnecessary. Maybe it's all ironic and delboyd is laughing along, in which case I apologise.
  7. Did you take the weans, Matt, and did they enjoy it ?

Sounds really good. Get along folks, and make a day of it: breakfast and a bevy, you can't go wrong. Wrecked by kick aff
  9. I always knew being a gloryhunter in the claret and amber would pay off for me
  10. Yip, and socks were called stockings too, so you had 22 grown men in stockings and knickers playing with a ball.
  11. I'll have a pint of what you're drinking, mate. I'd love to see a Motherwell victory against a bigot brother but I think not. It's a very young 'Well side that is only just learning to play together; hardly what you want against the Old Firm. 3-0 Rangers but hoping to be proved badly wrong.
  12. 3500 is a very good crowd; not far off 'Well's average gate. I hope all those who went along enjoyed it for what it was and think it was worthwhile. Pity Fergie wasn't there, but the legend that is Ole Gunnar is doing a fine job with the reserves. Who knows, perhaps one day the first teams will meet in the Champions League ; where there's life there's hope. My mrs has told me several times that Motherwell are now British champions and everyone will want to beat them

    Signing #7

Taxi for Rickoza . He'd have to be a bond villain with a name like that, but good luck to him.
  14. The burden of proof is upon the journalist making the accusation.
  15. You have a point there, mate, which also underlines the counter-productive effect of those chants, but the press shouldn't be able to exaggerate what occurred by introducing unfounded accusations of sectarianism; accusations which could do a lot of harm.
  16. And as those who were at the game are adamant no such chants were made, will the club be approaching The Sunday Mail to demand an apology ? What do you think 'Flow ? As for other chants at McGhee, I said on the other thread that chants about child abuse go way beyond banter, IMO, and that's not to single out Motherwell. Wenger was subjected to it again at Old Trafford. Some of those participating would have been there with their own kids ffs .
  17. Would somebody going along be kind enough to take a few pics and maybe post them up ?
  18. I reckon it really is an Airdrie fan. A case of double bluff Very good column
  19. Who writes the James Brainer column, Matt ? Always enjoy the rants of Airdrie Jim.
  20. Great play Steelburds. Top of the league
  21. Best wishes to Chris and his good lady during what must be a worrying time. Here's hoping for a happy outcome.
  22. Be intersting to see the team taken up and whether Fergie is there. As it's an event for Matt Busby's centenery, I'm thinking he will. Hope so.
