  1. I think McGhee was always a big outsider for the Celtic job, Aberdeen being the bigger threat. Mowbray seems a really nice guy, whether he'll win trophies there remains to be seen, but he'll get them playing a more attractive style.
  2. Seen that one, mate, cheers, but they used to sell a scarf of just alternating claret and amber blocks on the site. Just wondering whether it's still available so I can get one when I pre-order the new shirt.
  3. Do you stock a plain claret and amber bar scarf of the Harry Potter variety, totally bereft of any other adornment ? Thanks.

I think it's great the women get involved in exactly the same way as the guys. Many clubs now do the ladies fit shirt.

Nothing wrong with having the shorts for the hot summer days, though I draw the line at wearing a full strip

And you could have a point. If alcohol sponsorship is open to moral objections, gambling is too. Some religions, for example, forbid gambling. Doesn't bother me at all, but if it isn't allowed on children's shirts, it's worth bearing in mind some adults may also have issues with some sponsors.
  8. What has a game at Ibrox got to do with it ?
  9. Jobby is a fantastic Scottish word

That's a belting shirt, all you Steelmen should be proud to wear that, and I'll be getting one The strip is very amber. A bit of contrast for the shorts perhaps : claret/white ?

I'm looking forward to seeing the strip tomorrow, the general feeling seems to be it will be a good one.
  12. Was the 1-6 Hibs game in the Malpas season ? I remember the goal updates on Sky Sports News.
  13. Did you get him to sign an autograph ?
  14. That's superb, a pound per game for the kids !
  15. Do you get a good discount for the family package, and it is available in all areas of the stadium, or are you limited as to where family seating is offered ?
  16. My apologies if this has been covered ( and it's likely ) but in the absence of any football to discuss general chat becomes more prominent. So all you steelmen/steelburds, with the countless number of 'Well games seen between you, which performances spring to mind as those which left you feeling you had seen the best football ever played anywhere, on the one hand, but had you questioning whether you could put yourself through it again, on the other? Football from the Gods and football from the abyss. Give us your recollections.
  17. That's hardcore support for anyone, let alone someone who doesn't have the pull of an MFC background to encourage the sacrifices. If there was an applause smiley, I'd be using it.
  18. I'll say, it's £60 for a return from Manchester, not to mention the six hour round trip. . Do you have a season ticket for the train ?
  19. Respect is due, DC'd, and the cap is duly doffed. You're in ! Do you drive up for games ?
  20. I'll have a look to see whether you qualify, but I must warn you the bar is set very high. There's more chance of an Iraqi getting straight through passport control in America than there is of someone meeting my criteria. This is hardcore left field football support.
  21. Is your dad a 'Well fan perhaps ? I'm hoping there's someone with no previous connections with MFC who decided that's the team for them. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the wife, so I can't make that claim.
  22. Erm...........anyone ???
