  1. Gone are the days of Buckie and roll ups
  2. I only just noticed the date of your first post, I thought this was yet to take place. Oh well, sounds like it was fun. Photos next time, please - photos of any fights or sexual indiscretions particularly welcome
  3. That's a great offer by Clyde to their fans. £99 for an adult season ticket is fantastic.
  4. Flow, has there been much response to the two free child season books in the Cooper Stand? Very good to see an initiative like that. Smaller clubs need to catch the kids young, before the glamour of the big clubs seduces them.
  5. Get along, folks, it sounds like a good night. Take some photos, Matt, and post them.
  6. Quite right big Special. The father-son relationship is often the most difficult in a family - due to male difficulties with self expression and also competition as the son grows up - but it can also become the most nuanced in terms of mutual understanding. As a teenager, I remember how difficult my relationship with my dad was, yet now we're best friends; the football providing many good memories, and I hope there are many years of it to come.
  7. Excellent post by SD there; very poignant, and something many can relate to, regardless of their club. Memories are our most cherished possession.
  8. Ahm no made o' money . Lots of clubs do it, including in the SPL - Hibs definitely change their strips every year - home and away.
  9. Cheers, pal. Not long to wait now. Has anyone mentioned whether it will be in use for two years, only I've hardly worn the Canterbury shirt yet?
  10. Right, we're back from a wee jaunt in France. When's this new strip being released? I want to see it and then pre-order, if it meets the sartorial standard.
  11. The 6-6 game had to be the game of the season anywhere. I'd never seen anything like it.
  12. Then they will have to be ejected for being in the away section
  13. How many tickets were Motherwell given for this one? They must be like gold dust amongst the knuckle draggers, so was the away allocation cut?
  14. All amber and no hoop? If that happens I will get a big bag of popcorn for this thread. There would be carnage!
  15. So it's Puma then? I like their Spurs strips and look forward to seeing what they come up with.
  16. Yeah, amazing hit, all the more spectacular due to the context in which it was scored.
  17. Yeah, try topping that one on Sunday
  18. What was your pre-match predicition for this one, MJC? Don't even think about saying 6-6
  19. Does anyone know whether 6-6 was available with the bookies before the game, or do they just turn you away?
  20. Of course they'll be gutted, but when you're 2-6 down at home it's hardly surprising that some will think enough's enough. They mightn't do it again though
  21. I couldn't go to bed without first popping in to say well done for a comeback in what was one of the best matches I've ever seen. I thought you only get 6-6 in five-a-side games at your local leisure centre, and but for the missed penalty it could have been even better. Ok, some of the defending from both teams was farcical, but for entertainment it was brilliant, and what a last goal! The Motherwell rollercoaster that's often mentioned - I assume that was it summed up in one game Oh yeah, and a perfect game for all those kids in the crowd who got in for a quid to catch the football bug. If that doesn't get them to return, nothing will.
  22. Southport is about thirty miles away ( haven't been there since I was a kid ) but if you decide to visit a proper city I'll buy you a pint, aye.
  23. I would think so. Lot's of good folk on this forum who would make you welcome and show you around
  24. Those who were at the game will be able to accurately tell us how he did, but a clean sheet can only help his confidence and I'm pleased for him.
