  1. I suspect if it hadn't been for the wee nudge from his children, then Hutchinson wouldn't have bothered his arse making any Motherwell based investments. She appears to be the football fan and he is slightly indifferent towards football(rumours of being a Rangers fan would confirm this).
  2. Folk actually think the new, hand picked director of Motherwell is on here posting nonsense?
  3. As I said, we played better which is a rare positive in a run of 5 straight defeats. We had chances that we didn't take and were duly punished. We still conceded 3 goals and now have the worst defensive record in the league and have scored the least goals. We are running out of time to keep taking babysteps. The manager has had 7 matches and almost an entire transfer window, all the babysteps should have been taken by now.
  4. Must win for Baraclough? Must not get beat most definitely.
  5. I agree, we should be delighted that he chose to sign for a team that has played in Scotland's top division for over 30 years, being in and around European football for the best part of a decade, a side that has several International footballers(of a higher level than Grenada) over a side that sit second bottom of the 6th tier of the English league system who are likely to go back to the 7th tier where they spent the previous decade , previous to playing in jumped up pub leagues.
  6. The bottom half dozen teams in League 2 are dog shit. I know this from watching, in person, Newport come up from the conference and comfortably be at the right end of the league with a distinctly average team. The standard of play in League 2 is brutal in the main and doesn't contain loads of un discovered diamonds that some wish to believe. It does have some good players that can make a step up, but they are few in number. Hence why signing a guy who has struggled to play regularly for one the bottom 6 sides is a pretty underwhelming signing given our current predicament. The name or stature of the side he is on loan from is irrelevant, it is their league position, form and squad size that is important.
  7. Struggling to get a game for League 2 strugglers York. Underwhelmed...
  8. The thing about Tannadice is; we played better, but still conceded 3 goals. If that is constituted as encouraging then things are much worse than they appear.
  9. A work permit (or lack of) might hinder the chances of this move... He could have one of those dodgy Italian passports right enough.
  10. St Mirren in the main have been losing narrowly all season, we on the otherhand have been getting pumped, in the last 4 games we have conceded 15 of the poorest goals you are likely to see a professional team concede. We have scored one goal in the same time frame, our main source of supply appears to be Josh Law, a right back from the English non-leagues. We appear rudderless, unable to do the basics, lethargic, disinterested, heartless, devoid of motivation, lacking leadership from all sides and criminally unfit. Teams around us including County and St Mirren are starting to play some decent football, have turned to hungrier players which seems to be slowly working. We are still unable to play any semblance of football and we haven't convinced or looked the superior side in any of the 27 matches we have played this season. The teams above us are miles ahead and it will be almost impossible to catch 9th place. All these factors point to a very tough fight against relegation and I for one, cannot see where the change in fortune is coming from. This simply cannot be dismissed as "pant wetting" or "melodrama", it is unfortunately a stark reality of where this club is heading at the current moment in time. We ARE the worst team in this league right now, this is the present and no talk of 2nd place finishes will change that fact. Baws need kicked, those with motivational issues can fuck off right now, firm direction from the top is needed as is financial backing to a new manager who is being hung out to dry here. He must be allowed to bring in several new players before the transfer window ends. This season is very much in danger of imploding around us and by the time some(if any) stern action is taken it may be far too late.
  11. Cummins could not finish PT sessions because he is so unfit. In keeping with the rest of the squad bar a very select few. He'd have no chance against Utd's attacking players.
  12. If they hit top gear, which they seem to reserve for us at Tannadice then it could genuinely be anything they want it to be.
  13. Thanks to some choice budgets, it means financial disaster.
  14. The next 16 games are the most important matches this club will have played in over 20 years. All have the exact same importance.
  15. What's wrong with the statement? It's a realistic view of the present situation.
  16. No we're not. 34% pos and no shots vs 66% pos and 6 shots suggest otherwise.
  17. They certainly aren't paying them more.
  18. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it most certainly is.
  19. Dempster was a charlatan and left the Club an absolute shambles, with the idiotic budgetting, poor forward planning and loss making seasons despite unrivalled on the park success just some of her achievements. Not impressing anyone down Leith way by all accounts.
