I wouldn't say it's that worrying, it's what we've all known for a long time. It think it's actually a positive statement. The board are committed to keeping the Club successful demonstrated by not cutting the playing budget, but are being proactive in trying to increase income streams. We do need outside investment as the Well Society won't grow much more than it's current size.

Unfortunately for both parties, I think injuries really have finished Faddy playing at any type of competitive level. He has offers in the MLS and hopefully he gets sorted out with one, the way game is played there will suit him to a tee. It was sad to see at times last season. The brain is still there, the vision, the touch, the audicity, but the legs won't let him produce the magic on a remotely regular basis anymore.

Faddy has some offers from the MLS on the table. It's up to him and his family whether they take it, however it's a payday that won't be forthcoming on these shores. If he turns it down, I expect him to be here next season, on a slighty reduced wage.
