Can't agree about Riordan. Added to the fact Hibs have Miller and Zemmama. Stokes and Benji aren't too bad either. Hibs have better attacking options than us without doubt. Utd are guff though

Ideal. Take 3 points any day especially after we were shite today. Laboured win for us, by all accounts we were fairly poor. Plus points were obvious ones, Luas getting what is hopefully the first of many for us and Humphrey providing the assist on his first start back. Hopefully these two kick on and show us what they can do. Despite the cleansheet, don't think Craigans inclusion has made a great deal of difference, if Falkirk weren't completely murder they could've and should've had a few goals. Hutch coming back will be a big boost and if O'Brein is out for a while(bad achilles injury ends his season) Slane can't get back quick enough. Onwards and upwards Well, joint 3rd.

I think what people have missed is that the wee Morrocan isn't exactly Mr Innocent is he? He riled our fans, by running 50 yards to celebrate infront of us, goaded us from the other side of the pitch, then decided that he would try again nad third time lucky he got the reaction HE WANTED. Now, the boy that threw the missile hasn't got a great aim and should be banned on those grounds alone. Seriously though, if the guy had, had a few pints and decided to lob something at Zemmama after significant and repeated provocation then tough titty to the immature tit. He has no right to to moan about it, when he played a significant part in making it happen. The fan who threw the object should get a ban from Fir Park, a fine and will feel like a dick for a while that he has to miss out on the football for his actions. Zemmama should get a 3 match ban and a fine for actively seeking to incite crowd trouble.

At English games, especially Elland Rd, very few people actually sit down during the game and the stewards do nothing about it. Probably cos they get told to fuck off or they'll get done in right enough.

Personally, I thought Liam Miller ran the show on Saturday and its was him we couldn't deal with. His performance allowed the cradle snatcher, Riordan and Stokes to come into the game. Far, far too good a player to be at Hibs. Coke looked jaded, O'Brien had a mare and the two of them contributed to giving Hibs their 3 easy goals. (Though big Ruddy made a c**t of his punch). Hately again impressed, I didn't think Forbes actually had that bad a game. Big Yass, when he is in position is a good defender but, the problem is he thinks he's playing a free role sometimes(and should have crossed first time for Jutkewicz to make it 2-1). What pissed me off on Saturday was folk booing McHugh after he made a few mistakes. Fuck sake, granted he had a poor time of it when he came on but, was still looking to get on the ball all the time and try and create something.

We really need to counter Davis and Whittaker as they have been nothing short of brilliant so far this season. If Rothen plays, he too will present a significant threat. I'm confident Gannon will look to stop these players being able to influence the game. Fancy our chances of sneaking a wee 1- 0 result, we're long over due a win against them.

What I meant was the OTT Moral outrage at the chants when people didn't witness what context they were sung in or even what kind of support we had and what they were up to. By all accounts nobody at the game was so utterly disgusted that they felt the need to say anything at Pittodrie or go on the internet and moan about how shite our supporters are. As usual it wasn't until Glasgow gutter press decided to make a mountain out of a mole hill and preach down right lies on radio and in their shite tabloids that anybody felt strongly about nothing. All I can say is, thank Christ I don't get to read Scottish papers because the shoddy standrads of journalism in comparison with their English counterparts is incredible

Reading this thread, too many people bumping their gums when they weren't at the game so are really in no position to pass judgement on stuff they didn't hear. Paedo chants, aye not in great taste in granted, but Mutley's a big boy surely he can handle a bit of name calling? Afterall thats what it is, stick and stones and all that. When you make good money in football, in a decent profile job like Shovelface then if he lets a few weans and steamers get to him by calling him a Paedo in jest then I'm afraid he's in the wrong business. Sectarian chants were non-existent by all first hand reports from both away and home fans. I actually can't see the logic behind the running a story like that when it culd clearly get them in trouble as there is no evidence whatsoever of it happening. I've heard so so much worse in the last fortnight at games down here than what was aimed at McGhee on Saturday. Songs about Spurs, Gas Chambers and Auschwitz to name, but one and that one wouldn't even get a mention in the local rag.
