This was my first game in a wee while and I feel sorry for anyone who has to pay to watch that week in, week out. Both sides could have played until next Saturday and still not scored. Entertainment value was zero out of ten and it will take something drastic to tempt me back. Whilst I don’t think we will be in any danger this year, if we have any top 6 aspirations we will need to improve on that performance.

If players are tiring he needs to bring on replacements. I would rather see fresh legs for the final 15 than praying that we don’t concede by persevering with a player who is dead on his feet. There is no point in having subs if you are not willing to use them when players are tiring.

Agreed. Lesser teams with young inexperienced players have managed to hold Rangers for a lot longer than 15 minutes. I know it’s an intimidating atmosphere, however, they need to start somewhere.

I miss the days when we were a class above and used to batter them.

Cheers guys. I can’t wait until he is back in the side as he provides something a little different up front. I believe he could have made a difference in a few of the games we lost recently. Of course you can’t pin all our hopes on one guy, however, we look weaker when he’s not in the team.

We have really missed his presence and threat up front in the last few games. Does anyone know when we can expect to see him back in action? And secondly, was there a reason given why his problem was not looked at in the preseason?

It’s always a tough game against the Saints and this will be no different. They had a great result against Hearts in the cup the other night and I fear they will be too strong/organised for us. 2-0 Saints.

We looked liked we had excepted our fate before the game even began. It’s performances like last night that make me wonder why we even bother turning up.

I turned off at half time but by all accounts it could have been much worse than 5. It’s always a tough gig when you play the Old Firm away from home and to get anything you need to be at your best. Tonight from what I saw, we weren’t anywhere near it.

I’ve turned the game off, however, Samson for me is our early contender for man of the match. He has single handily kept the score respectable in that first half. Ah well, maybe next year.
