There should be a facility for away fans to pay at the gate, or at least be able to get a ticket from a Portakabin. I've personally not been to The Soap Dodgers Stadium in some years. However, as I live in Glasgow it would have been nice to know that if I took the notion I could have nipped along and caught the game. The ground will be a quarter full and for them to not have this facility is foolish. Ah well, it’s a dodgy BT Sport stream for me then.

Sorry I should have been clearer. I was only reporting what was said on Twitter by @AgentScotland. He also claimed that Dunfermline offered him £1200 a week to stay.

Interesting to note that Kilmarnock’s cup woes continued tonight when their U20s were beaten 5-2 by Queens Park.

I heard he asked for 3k a week wages at Dundee! Further reports stated that he didn’t get that, however, I am sure he is still costing them a fair bit.

Certain much better financially than drawing either Alloa, Peterhead or Ayr United. If we are going to get knocked out it’s better to lose with a tidy financial reward to help sweeten the blow. And you never know we might just win it!

Until the league gets under way it’s far too early to judge the side. We haven’t set the heather on fire in the league cup, however, we have done enough to qualify for the next stage. I would have preferred to have topped the section with 12 points, although winning a few cup games is an improvement on previous campaigns. And don’t forget we are making a few bob from the Old Firm along the way.

Just a tad! Lol The shirts were obtained from the same supplier as Bradford City. Probably to reduce the need to change when our traditional blue clashed with opponents (blue was a very common club colour). Our bold claret hoop never appeared on our shirts until 1928.

To be honest it wasn’t a great match, however, we got the win. Whether, it will be enough to help us get to the next stage only time will tell.

I know Weeyin, however, we need goals and Rangers don’t as they are certain to go through as group leaders.

Tonight is the best opportunity to increase our goal difference in our attempt to qualify for the next stage of the League Cup. Whilst teams can park the bus, I refuse to accept it as an excuse. As a professional football team we should be winning this in a canter.
