  1. Yes the away end looked pretty full. Poor turnout for us, however, it is still holiday time in a cup competition we rarely perform well in.
  2. Going by the TV pictures there seemed to be a very poor Motherwell support. Any idea how many where there?
  3. Throughout the match Rangers always looked the most likely. Sadly, we appear to lack sharpness in front of goal, although it’s still early days and I would expect a big improvement against Annan.
  4. Our cup woes look like continuing. 5 minutes to get back into it. How did Samson get away with that?
  5. Rangers do look suspect in defence, however, we don’t look capable of capitalising.
  6. I can imagine the post match comments, “We battered them, battered them. We were a class above them.”
  7. Faring better than I expected, however, I think Rangers are looking the most likely to take all three points. Still time though to get the equaliser.
  8. Inside The SPFL @AgentScotland, winding up the Rangers fans on Twitter with this info graphic...
  9. Sadly, I can’t make todays match, however, here’s hoping for a repeat of the play-off game. #COYW
  10. Hard to tell, however, it looks as if it will peel off after a few washes.
  11. They involved a tattoo artist in the design. He designed a new logo that featured on the sleeve of the shirt. You need to be brave to wear these designs with jeans. Double denim is a look that is hard to pull off, unless of course you are a member of Status Quo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywe9yA049eg
  12. Marseille and Napoli both released denim kits a few years ago. They are a bit like marmite, you either love them or hate them. Personally I don’t mind it.
  13. Another enjoyable listen lads, keep up the good work.
  14. I’m no copyright expert, however, I am sure a judge would come down in favour of the original artist. Particularly on the Paine Proffitt one. He could certainly sue the person who copied his original. This is an excerpt from an online article on plagiarism/fan art. I suppose, theoretically Motherwell could be sued as they approved the original match poster. At the end of the day it’s better to create your own, wholly original work to avoid any potential legal problems.
  15. I don’t think it’s a famous poster, the Motherwell guy has obviously been short on time and just traced it for quickness. He maybe needs to be more careful in the future, or perhaps alter it a bit more.
  16. Available here He’s posted a few more with the hashtag: #MakeArtDontTakeArt
  17. On the subject of Motherwell v Rangers. Our wonderful matchday poster artist is getting it tight on Twitter for plagiarism of another guys work (he’s not the only one, others are also being exposed in a campaign waged against Soccer Art Copy Cats). The illustration on the left was created in 2014. The one on the right was created for the first play-off match against Rangers. As they say, bang to rights Guv. Art imitating art.
  18. We must surely be favourites to top the group. The Rangers game will be tough, however, if we approach the game in the correct manner we should have enough to edge it.
  19. At least the manager and the players will be under no illusion as to just how much work is still required to get up to match sharpness. On the evidence so far we are probably a good 2 to 3 games away from that. Our progress in the league cup will be down to which teams are further down the road.
  20. The last I checked it was going better than ours. However, these games don’t count and I am hopeful that we will be match ready when the time comes.
  21. I know it was a long time ago, however, it is still the single greatest achievement in our clubs history. To win a league title is the hardest thing to do in domestic football. Consequently, when the time comes I am sure we will recognise it. While the 91 cup win was brilliant, I don’t view it as greater than the our 1952 Scottish Cup win. However, until we win it again, I am sure the club will find a way to keep reminding us every 5 years.
