  1. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll manage to make another game this season, as always it’s been a blast. I’m going for 2-1 to the good guys.
  2. I was told that I went to my first game at the grand old age of one! My father couldn’t find a baby sitter and ended up taking me to the match. Happily for him I slept through the whole game, only waking up for some half time milk.
  3. Here’s hoping Celtic can keep our Europa dream alive. Although Miller has just put Rangers 1-0 up.
  4. Financially it’s a much needed boost.
  5. It was a stonewaller, and there was no need for him to stick his leg out in the way he did as Johnstone had it covered.
  6. Going by the Sky Sports pictures Skippy’s disallowed goal looked a fraction offside (it was very, very tight). Ripley was having a great game and then he let one through his legs (who’d be a goalkeeper?). Luckily the score didn’t matter and we are officially top six.
  7. Congratulations to all in involved in securing a top six place.
  8. From Twitter... Just how good does our playing surface look for tomorrows game? Head Groundsman @Ebp3paul takes advantage of a break in the rain to start preparing the pitch for Saturday...
  9. Agreed. I have never worked out how he gets all those big Euro gigs. Was/is he not on the FIFA elite referee list of the top referees?
  10. We just need to make sure on Saturday by taking at least a point.
  11. I reckon most years 44 points would have been enough to secure a top six place.
  12. Dundee United had one thing to do and they appear to have arsed it.
  13. Who do Thistle play on Saturday?
  14. Sadly I also won’t be there. We have nothing to fear from Celtic and we should approach the game in a positive manner in an attempt to secure the points required for the top six. I am going for a hard fought 2-2 draw.
  15. Ignore the very rough two second mock up, however, it would look something like this in C&A.
  16. I covered those two designs a while back and both would make good white away tops. Sadly for some reason Macron are not too bothered about featuring our new designs on their website. They did mention the partnership announcement, however, that was the only credit.
  17. If I had to choose a template from the Macron team wear range I would probably select a shirt with a polo or crew neck style of collar. It’s the one thing that I am not sure about in their range is their occasional love for odd shaped collars. The collar style below is from the Macron ‘Skol’ shirt template. http://www.pslteamsports.com/Macron-Skoll-Shirt--WhiteBlack_p_6397.html
  18. Macron also produced a cracking 90th (What?) anniversary laced collar shirt for PAOK. Shirt purists love a laced collar.
  19. Some Macron designs have been released and Wrexham have asked their fans to vote for their favourite from the designs below... I am not a big fan of the collar on the Home/Away kit 1 (we had this style in 14/15), I much prefer the polo style.
  20. I have been a big supporter of a one off return of the black socks. You never know.
  21. Sadly I don’t, however, apart from the addition of a claret band/hoop it will come from one of the latest Macron shirt design templates. We are lucky to have a signature design (the claret hoop) as without it our shirts would be a bland template painting by numbers job. The only thing I hope that we re-introduce is the full front to back claret hoop as I am not a big fan of only having a front band.
  22. Birmingham City also did the name thing last year with their 140th Anniversary shirt. It caused some controversy when it was launched as they spelt the clubs name wrong on the commemorative badge. http://thekitman.co.uk/2015/10/carbrini-birmingham-city-2015-16-140th-anniversary-home-shirts-feature-botched-crests/
  23. I would probably agree with you, however, clubs love to celebrate these things usually with a special kit/badge. Some clubs abroad celebrate random years (86 years, 98 years). I personally would only celebrate the 100 year anniversary and out with that, I wouldn’t bother. However, if we decide to do it, we should at least do it well.
  24. Hooped sleeves are not for everyone and are generally more associated with rugby shirts. However, probably more to do with my age that I have always liked that style.
