In recent games the current group of players are playing like a middle/lower end of the table championship side. If they have any ambition to stay in the premiership, performances and results will have to improve pretty quickly. Or perhaps a spell in the Championship wouldn’t be such a bad thing, as it would allow us to start afresh with a group of eager, young players willing to learn. Sadly on recent form, this team are only going one way and that is down.

I would probably agree, as on yesterdays showing our defence was run ragged by a very poor Killie side. But for the keeper, the score could have been a lot worse. However, I think the horse may have bolted and we will need to make do with what we have got.

It was my first game in a while, however,I certainly won’t be turning down any weekend work to watch what I witnessed yesterday. If we don’t improve our home support will soon drop below 3000.

We look spent, however, we need to be strong and play like our lives depended on it. I’m going for a nervous one each draw.

This was my first game in a while and I was shocked at just how bad we actually are. On this showing, I won’t be in any hurry to rush back. Thank god Dundee United are 12 points behind us, as we look like relegation fodder.

It’s good to have Faddy back on board as I am sure he will be a positive influence in the dressing room and on the park. Welcome aboard the Ark James for the (4th?) time.

My first game in a while and I am not sure what to expect from Motherwell. As long as there is no late goals (unless there for us), that will be a good starting point. Confidence wise, I think this is a must win, or at the very least don’t lose. Mon the Well!

I assume by the deafening silence from the Motherwell camp that we are signing no out of contract players and that Faddy has decided to hang up his boots. Or are we expecting a late flurry of signings before the weekend?

I am in podcast withdrawal and seriously missing my hit. Any idea when it will be available online, or do I need to look for another podcast dealer.

One year we will be the worst. Whether it’s this year or some other year, it will happen at some point. The only team that is immune from this fate is Celtic, where a bad season would constitute finishing second in the league and not winning a cup. So far it’s been Dundee United and any side that finishes below them in the league this season will deserve to be relegated.

I am personally not up on all the transfer rules, however, you would like to think that the relevant people at our club would have dismissed the notion of signing Higdon immediately.

The time to relax is when we are safe from relegation/play off spot.

That’s good to know, I had assumed that we were going to be fined. To be fair the whole thing is laughable.

Indeed, however, it does seem a little over the top. It makes our one smoke bomb/flare seem like a sparkler. Lol

United are showing slow signs of improvement and I believe that the game against them will be a tougher prospect than the one against Killie. However, only time will tell if United can amass enough points to save their premiership skin and if the teams around them can secure enough to be deemed safe. The Killie game is winnable, however, at the moment our confidence looks shot. In the closing minutes of a game, every opposition manger will be urging their team forward in the knowledge that we are vulnerable to losing late goals.

We need to learn to play the final 90+ minutes in the opposition half.

Not confident that we can win this one and we have shown nothing in the last few games to convince me that we are capable of taking all three points. 1-0 Killie, 93rd minute winner.
