It’s been a while, however, I’m sure we are not the only team to have endured such a fate. At least we beat them in the play off.

Aberdeen are currently being ripped a new one, Rangers will need to match that to keep pace with Celtic. Our game can now go one or two ways. They can either rip us a new one to match Celtic, or we capitalise on the pressure that Celtic have put on the boys in blue.

I do worry that they will know the result from the Aberdeen / Celtic game prior to this match. If Celtic drop points Rangers will be determined to capitalise on that result by beating us. I would have preferred to have played them first. They’ve been very strong and free scoring at Ibrox this season. 6-1 against Hibs, 5-0 against Aberdeen and 5-0 against Accies. Celtic showed how to play them, however, they have the players to really hurt them where it matters. We also have players who can hurt them although they will need to be at the top of their game to do it.

Don’t worry we will only take 8 off them.

The last time I was inside Ibrox to watch a game v Rangers. I took my then girlfriend now wife to her first ever game. The atmosphere leaving the ground was pretty toxic and one of the reasons I’ve never been back.

Rangers looked dangerous tonight against Porto and probably should have won it. They are starting to eat away at Celtic’s league dominance by adding/buying some better quality players. This is a far better side than we faced last season. However, If we can contain their obvious attacking threat there is a slim chance that we could sneak a draw. Although, if we lose an early goal and it could get nasty.
