It was slightly tongue in cheek. If he does go to Rangers I very much doubt he will have much impact, or game time in a Gerrard team trying to prevent Celtic from doing another clean sweep. He would be better off going down south to continue his development.

I suspect he is off. Another player lured by the Old Firm and the money they can offer. No doubt he will be visiting Fir Park next season and scoring goals for fun in the blue of Rangers. Ah well, we move on. I would drop him for another player who will hopefully be with us next season. No point in keeping players sharp for the opposition to benefit. The black badge on the home replica was an odd one. However, it’s good to know that the Ian Skelly logo on the match worn shirts were claret and my memory wasn’t playing tricks. I’m still trying to find some better images of the kit being worn, however, I’m not having much luck.

On a kit related note. When did our kit become available through UK Soccer Shop? I always thought PSL had exclusive rights to sell our tops.

Brilliant that would be great if you could take a few more pictures. Yes, I think the logo was claret on the match worn shirts and not black. Can anyone confirm this? Aztec always endeavour to replicate the match worn version rather than the shop replicas. So any potential release would reflect that.

The match worn version was over one line as shown in the Dundee United picture. Depending on the application Skelly used both versions.

Interesting that the Ian Skelly logo is different on that replica. It’s written in one line on the players shirt and over two on the replica.

Yes it is odd. There are loads of pics of the home kit from that era but the away is elusive. If anybody has pictures of us playing Dundee United from the time there will be a chance we wore it then. Any programme collectors on here care to check?

I’m not sure as it was an odd time for Motherwell replica kit (there have been a few of those over the years). I can’t find a single image that it even existed, maybe we have all just imagined it?

I’m happy to approach the guy, however, I will require some decent images of our 1986-87 white Umbro away top for anything to happen. Does anyone still have their replica from 30+ years ago that they could photograph?
