I couldn’t see from where I was sitting and that’s why I was keen to take a closer look at the TV footage. Both of Cerny’s feet were certainly behind the line when he saved it, however it’s difficult to judge whether the ball/hand was to. It was certainly very tight, although the screenshot is far too lo-res to tell. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one, as we will hopefully get one going in our favour next time.

Hard to tell from a screenshot, however, have we been slightly hard done by on this one? The ball looks as if it might be just over the line before Tomáš Černý saves it. In saying that, it was a great reflex save from the keeper.

This one is in the bag. I always take my Thistle mate to these games and he’s yet to see them win at Fir Park. So put your feet up and relax the three points are ours. 3-0 Motherwell.

I watched the game ’as live’ on Alba and we allowed Martin Boyle to run the show. Until the introduction of Cadden and our goal I never thought we were going to get anything from the game. We could have even sneaked another late equaliser. Main looks like a good find and seems as if he will score a few goals for us.

I know I’m never going to convince you that 100% of the ball crossed the line without you viewing it from another angle. However, I couldn’t resist blowing the You Tube image up even more. I feel like I’m in that Mel Brooks film where he enlarges a picture of a crime to try and prove a point (I can’t remember what it’s called). However, even if it wasn’t 100% over (as I think) we finally got a goal line decision going in our favour.

I to find it hard to believe that not everyone can see this despite the evidence presented.

Fisher is a nice guy and I wish him all the best, however, he’s not a goal scorer (or at least not for us!).

It would be nice to kick start our league campaign by taking all three points. I’ll go for 2-0 to the good guys.

I hope we get a result, however, through choice, I won’t be going to this one. Our performance in the last home game has pretty much put me off football for the rest of the season. Roll on season 2018-19 wherever we may be.

Tanner was the only light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

I haven’t watched us in the flesh since the cup final, however, apart from the first 20 minutes I thought we were dreadful. To be honest it’s relegation form and I’m just glad we have a winter break to try and regroup. Although, if we continue to play like we did today we are almost certainly championship bound. Poor, poor stuff.

You are more likely to see a UFO piloted by Elvis land on the centre circle of Fir Park than see Louis play for us today. No we need to make do with what we have got and get stuck into this mob.
