I hate this mob with all my might for the hurt they brought me throughout my years supporting Motherwell. I just hope we are so far ahead approaching the last 20 minutes that there will be no chance of a repeat of the 1976 semi final debacle. I firmly believe players like Moult and Hartley are born winners and don’t care who they are up against. It’s confidence like that which will hopefully see us reach the final against Hibernian on November 26.

Fair play if we do take 10,000 as we need as much backing as we can possibly muster. I’ve always thought that due to the opposition being Rangers the figure would be nearer 7,000. 6/7,000 sounds like a more realistic figure and I suspect any talk of 9,000+ sold is nudging towards Celtic Seville calculator territory.

Unfortunately I can’t make todays game but the game is listed on the Cricfree streaming site. Clutching at straws, however, I'm hoping they might magic a live feed from somewhere.

I think we just need to play our normal game and what will be, will be. No use worrying unnecessary as it can effect the way you approach the match. Whatever happens we will deal with it when the time comes.

As well as auctioning off match worn shirts, I wondered if there is a demand for the Society/Club to produce their own claret and amber ringer tee with a claret hoop to raise extra cash. It needn’t cost much to produce and I’m certain a supplier could be sourced to make it for a reasonable price (Copa?). Perhaps it’s something to think about as a way of generating some extra income. I’m sure WS members and fans would snap them up in the knowledge that all profit was going direct to the society. I know the Well Shop produce our official gear, however, I’m sure they would get on board to help out. I envisage it would look something like my rough mock up below. If I’m talking pish. Or it would be a loss maker, or too difficult to organise/produce please ignore my ramblings.

They are no where near the standard of the Rangers teams of old. I would say on their day they are on a par with Aberdeen. However, If we play to our potential we have as good a chance as any of reaching the Final against Hibs.
