If we finish where we are now we will be playing either Falkirk, Morton or Dundee United to retain our premiership status. Not as daunting as playing Rangers, however, we would be up against a team with momentum and confidence. Hopefully, it won’t come to that and we will have just enough to avoid the play-off spot and leave that problem to someone else. What is clear it’s time to stand up and be counted. No manager, captain wants to be remembered as the one who was in charge when we were relegated. We have the personnel to finish 10th, we just need to get our arse in gear and prove it. Anyway I am sure the pundits want a Dundee v Dundee United play-off. Make it so!

I have some sympathy for Samson, he’s not the best, however, what he has in front of him is just as bad.

We are certainly no better than them as there is very little to choose between the bottom six sides. On recent form Dundee appear to be on a Hibernian style free fall (long may it continue). Inverness are still in the play-off position mix and I’m sure Foran is amazed that they are not further adrift. I’m expecting a few twists and turns before the end of the season that’s for sure.

I’d accept a scrappy 1-0 to us (we rarely score more than one). This is like a cup tie and the players must be made aware of just how important this game is to everyone at the club. To lose this game would be unthinkable, however, if we do we should start preparing for the worst, as teams who keep losing generally go down. Come on Motherwell surprise us all and score two goals.

This is a major concern as financially this is not a good year to be relegated. I suspect there will have to be some cutbacks if we go down and job losses may well play a part in the rebuild. There is no denying Flow is a great guy and I have lots of time for him. However, his strength is in media and he has the awards to prove it. I wished him well in his new role, however, it may well have been a step too far for him. I really hope we can get out of the mess we are in, and there is no better way than by thumping Inverness 1-0 next week at Fir Park.

A very poor Accies team are grinding out results. Last minute winners are a tell tale sign that they will fluke it until the end of the season. Our one ray of light is Dundee. Their form is worse than ours and Inverness (they are really bad). Six straight defeats doesn’t make for good reading. However, it’s worth noting that their goal difference is still far superior to ours. I believe Killie and Ross County have enough to avoid the play-off spot. It’s now between us, Inverness, Accies and Dundee. It goes without saying that next weeks game is MASSIVE.

Sadly, I think this could be our year to be relegated. It’s been coming, and from what I have seen in recent games nothing appears to be going for us. Maybe it’s for the best, as it will give us some time to rebuild for the future. Without Moult we don’t look like scoring, and with him we rarely score more than one. Unfortunately that’s relegation form if ever I seen it.

Perhaps we have some claim that the full ball is over in this top frame. The frame appears to show that the Accies player is at a slight angle and not facing forwards (his body is facing the East Stand). This would enable him to hit the bar without the full ball crossing the line. Without doubt we have been very unfortunate in some of the decisions that have gone against us, however, at the speed this happened I am prepared to cut the linesman some slack (just this once! Lol)

I’ve looked at the incident for the first time on video (BBC). I have frozen the frame at the point where the player makes contact with the ball. I believe it’s too difficult to call (remember the whole ball needs to be over the line). A few seconds after the initial header the player does step behind the line, however, it would take a brave official to give this one at the time. Taking off my C&A specs I would say it appears to be an excellent goal stopping clearance. Tin hat firmly on.

As long as we do the business tomorrow I don’t care what the other teams do. It would be a bonus if Aberdeen could take a few off Inverness to help even up the goal difference a bit. The Ross County, Dundee one is tricky. However, I hope there are a few long term injuries and red cards during the game for both sides.

Where they finished in season 63-64. At least we finished above Airdrie.

It came off Pearson last, so I think we need to give the ref some credit on this one.
