  1. Win our next match. Are you on drugs.
  2. That should be Alexander finished. I can only pray.
  3. Another brutal performance. Can't even string 3 passes together. The only highlight is a VV speculative shot that the goalie should have done better with. Still if you don't shoot you don't score. Can someone tell me what our game plan is apart from hoof the ball.

    This season?

I haven't posted on here for a very long time. I was regular season ticket holder and used to go to FP every week with four mates. We all stopped going about 3 years ago. Watching Alexanders boot it up the park tactics and before him Robinson's cave man football, I have no intention of returning and paying the over inflated prices to be bored out of my skull for 90 minutes. If anyone thinks what is being served up at FP and in the Premier League in general, even allowing for the abysmal standard of player, is really football then put forward your argument. We can't even attract 4000 supporters on a good day. That says it all. Graham Alexander is another manager we have employed who trawls the depths of despair e.g. the English lower leagues for players whose careers have consisted of being put out on loan season after season. He then signs them . Oh and the next time Alexander changes his expression let me know. I swear it is a cardboard cutout standing at the touchline. No animation, no emotion, no passion, no encouragement. His after match comments beggar belief. It is like a repeat TV programme. He needs to be told that the rules DO allow him to pick the same 11 players in the same positions more than once rather than putting the players names in a hat. As for the current squad of players. We have one guy who could play at a higher level and that is Kelly the goalkeeper. He is paid approx £4000 a week and earns it. As for the rest of the players. Parcel them up in a box and put them on a shelf at BM Bargains and see if anyone bites. That's the only way you might get money for them.
  5. My obsevations. Poorest Motherwell team in years, yes I know that is stating the obvious. Most of the players trying their best but apart from 3 or 4 players the rest are not only not Premier League players but should not even be professional players. We started todays game with the following in central midfield, a 36 year old who played ok but his legs are gone and an 18 year old learning the game. There in a nutshell is the problem, we have no effective midfield. Every time a defender looks up every one is running away from them, and we resort to long punts up the park. It is not difficult to see why we are second bottom of the league. Players to keep McHugh, Moult (although having scored 17 goals in this team, I am sure he will be off at the end of the season) and Cadden. Cadden has lots to learn and needs better coaching than I think he is getting. He also needs to be more aware of what is going on around him, He has an engine and can get up and down the park. We have 3 players who are good enough to play in the Premier League. Players like Scott Mcdonald, Keith Lasley, Stevie Hammell and Stephen McManus, have played successfully in the Premier League but I did not mention them for the future as they are all coming to the end of their careers. Robinson the manager, whether he is the right choice or not I don't know. Personally, I thought we should have appointed somone with a more in depth knowledge of Scottish football. Dundee appopinted Neil McCann, who knows the game inside out and has won his first two games- both away from home. You can argue they have better players than us, and I would certainly not disagree, but he has them set up with 2 up front and 2 banks of four. We on the other hand are all over the place, and that is down to poor coaching. 3 games left. All three teams (Accies, Kille and ICT) will score against us and they know that. So we need at least 2 goals to win. Unfortunately we average 1.1 goals a game. So statistically the best we can hope for is 3 draws. In 27 games out of 35 we have either not scored or scored only once. So at best we have one goal in us. We have only kept a clean sheet in 3 league games this season. Draw your own conclussions from those stats. The only positive note is that we have taken more points away from home than at home, so maybe with 2 out of the 3 games away, the team may surprise us. Here is hoping they do, because if they go down it will be along road back to the top flight - just ask St Mirren, Hibs, Falkirk, Dunfermline and Dundee Utd how ard it is down there.
  6. Newcastle United Jets After unsuccessful trials at both Blackpool and Everton, Jeffers agreed to trial with Australian A-League side Newcastle Jets. On 29 October 2010, he signed a 10-match guest contract with the club.[17] He made his debut for the club on 13 November 2010, helping Newcastle to a 3–1 victory over Adelaide United. Jeffers delivered the killer blow, setting up striker Marko Ješić for Newcastle's third goal of the match with a curling, defence-splitting through ball in the 52nd minute. He scored his first goal on 8 December 2010 against the Melbourne Heart. He then provided an assist as he played a fantastic through ball to Marko Ješić for Newcastle's second. Although Newcastle and Jeffers were both keen on extending his contract, they failed to come to an agreement and Jeffers left the club after making a positive impact. make of that what you will
  7. I quote. "Black's managerial record at Airdrie United was sadly not to be as successful as his time as a player. Despite signing some reasonable players, and guiding the team to an MG Alba Challenge Cup Final win against Ross County in 2008, he will be remembered for an uninspiring league record that saw the club lose four 1st/ 2nd Division play off games over the course of his tenure." Throw in a manger who so far has also been less than successful and you can see why questions are being asked. Somehow I don't think these two guys, with their previous track records, are suddenly going to become successful or become inspirational leaders. As they say leopards can't change their spots no matter how much they try or want to. If these two guys don't conjure up a win against Hibs tomorrow then my worst fears may just be about to become true.
  8. Brutal game - like all have been since Brown left. Best chances fell to ICT and they should have won. We created nothing and from now on it is going to a long hard season. Only Accies and St Mirren and possibly Hibs will stop us from being relegated. Not convinced McCall has it tactically. Team seems to be playing as badly as when Young was in charge. Went today but that is it for me. Far better things to spend money on than shite like that every week. Boyle better show some ambition. Only 3700 bothered to turn up. Not one player in a well jersey worth watching.
  9. McCall will not change things drastically. Still obviously getting to know the players and no doubt G. Young is whispering in his ear. Just hope he isn't listening. ICT have only lost one game out of ten away from home all season and scored 18 goals. That is nearly 2 goals a game away from home. We have won 3 out of 9 and scored 14 goals and worryingly conceded 14 goals too. Tough game and there will be not a lot of goals. Would love to see us win, but realistically with the squad we have and our inability to keep a clean sheet at home. So far in two league games under McCall we have not scored (and we haven't really created many chances) so I can see ICT winning 1-0 or 2-0. Looking at the bigger picture unless McCall can add players to strengthen the squad I think we will finish 8th or 9th come the end of the season.
  10. To be honest, how can anyone one here expect it to get better. Regardless of who the manager is the playing squad just don't cut it at the required level. We can't even out bid an English Blue Square League team for a player. The future looking bleak, not just for Motherwell mind you. Scottish football is crap and then some. Better get used to lean times and just surviving in the Premier League for the foreseeable future. And if guys don't want to watch that, who can blame them Lots of other things in this day and age to spend £20 on.
  11. I will not be there. Kick off on Sunday to suit TV. Fucking fed up trying to get to games at times that don't suit anyone. Neither wonder fans are drifting away. I remember when football was played on two days. Saturday 3.00pm and Wednesday 7.30pm. You could plan for it. Make no mistake this is a tough tie for us and defeat would be no shock. I can only hope that the Motherwell players start looking as if they give a fuck or perhaps the old "on the box hoodoo" will strike again.

    Accies V Well

Absolute shite from start to finish. I see the new managers supposed attacking plan came about - not. Another pitiful performance from players who disgraced the famous jersey - AGAIN. I will be picking the games I attend from now on. Fed up pitching up £20 plus to pay players who don't even try.
  13. Tommy Craig was was sacked by Charleroi on 14 April 2010. Went there with John Collins. McCall must win at NDP on Saturday- nothing less is acceptable against a team bottom of the league. No fucking hiding place for the players like there has been in the last three matches. You know - wee team playing big teams - not expected to win. I would hope between the two of them they can suss out who the bottle merchants are and finally get the fucking defense sorted eg get a BIG dominant centre half.
  14. Not impressed with this appointment. The two guys in front of McCall knocked it back, speaks volumes. Not surprised they knocked it back when you consider (a) Watched us get humped 4-1 could have been 9-1 by Rangers. (b) No money for players © Poorly paid squad of players, consisting of loan deals and youngsters. (d) Poor support about 4000 hard core. Interesting that McCall's name has never been mentioned for any other managers jobs and then Boyle takes him on. But then if guys keep knocking it back you have to give it to someone.
  15. we will get humped - pure and simple.
  16. No fight no passion no belief. Every player in a claret and amber jersey shaould be ashamed of that first half. Rangers look like they can score at will.
