Can someone tell me what a "fully integrated club" is. If Burrows reads these posts please enlighten is what this entails. I won't hold my breath for anyone expanding on this brain numbing statement.
-
Hammell ticks all the boxes that's a bold statement to make. Tell me the boxes. Do you honestly think introducing youngsters into the current shit storm is wise. If you do, you are deluded. If any of the youngsters were good enough I would have thought Hammell would have reported this to the previous regime. If he wasn't forceful or confident enough to do this doesn't bode well for his future as a manager.
-
Let me pin my colours to the mast right now. In my opinion Hammell is the wrong appointment. No managerial experience. Only managed young boys. No pressure with his current role. No experience of what to do when a team is in free fall and how to sort it. I could go on. So we had 70 applicants and seemingly whittled this down to 3 or 4 for interview. With that amount I could possibly see getting it down to 10 and then having two rounds of interviews but to only interview 4 guys. Shockingly incompetent. They just went through the motions and appointed the cheap option. As I said earlier I didn't trust this hapless board of jokers to make the right decision and guess what they didn't disappoint. Make no mistake this team is destined for a relegation battle. Does anyone seriously think this squad, regardless of tactics, is going to suddenly turn into football players. I said earlier we have two players earning their wages. Kelly and Van Veen. The rest will not do. This woeful squad is not Hammells fault, but being realistic he is going to have to see the season out with the majority of them. New faces in means wages being freed up by people leaving. Who is going to offer money for any of the crap in this current squad. Hammell has to take points during August and early September because the games in late September into October are Hearts, Celtic, Hibs, Rangers, Aberdeen, Dundee Utd. Good luck Stevie, you will need it.

You won't have long to wait. Motherwell will announce new manager today
-
Morecambe that where Robinson was.

I think if Stevie Hammell all but says it is a shambles, then it is bad. I would like to know how you know it isn't a shambles. Think Stevie would know what is going on. I will name you the quality. Kelly and Van Veen their stats back it up. Please enlighten me on what other quality we have.

From that article. Alexander says. “He’ll embrace and introduce new ideas to how we work, using all the tools the modern game provides." Don't really know what that means but regardless, it failed. He recruited players who couldn't even do the basics.

I have watched 4 games now. Two against Sligo Rovers who got humped 5-1, this week by a non descript Norwegian outfit. Then St Mirren who should have won had they taken their chances and St Johnstone who won 2-1 and scored all three goals. So in 360 minutes of football against piss poor opposition we have scored one goal and that was a penalty. How anybody can think that we are heading for anything else but a relegation battle is beyond me. Fucking Pep Guardiola couldn't do anything with the shite that is masquerading as professional football players at Fir Park. Honestly, only two players have contributed positively in the past 8 months Kelly and Van Veen. The rest are incompetent at best. If any candidates were in the stand watching that horse shit today they have probably phoned up Burrows and with drawn their interest. Burrows and the rest of the amateur hour comedians who have consistently picked duff managers are the ones to blame for this clusterfuck.

Reading the posts concerning our midfield in getting forward and supporting the front players and contributing to our goal tally. Career Stats Slattery 23 years old. 147 games. 18 goals. This includes 4 for Southampton U18 and 11 for Southampton B team. If you just count senior football his stats are 52 Games 3 goals Goss 26 years old. 134 games. 10 goals. Spittal 26 years old. 337 games. 56 goals. McGuire 24 years old. 83 games. 3 goals. Cornelius 21 years old. 18 games. 2 goals. Tierney 21 years old. 88 games goals 15 goals Midfielders have played a total of 713 games, scoring 89 goals. Spittal has 56 of them. Underperformers as regards goals are Slattery, Goss and McGuire. Also Slattery has only played 52 first team games. Goss at 26 has only played 134 games. Compare with Spittal who is the same age. This would indicate that Goss has never been first choice at any of his clubs. Given Slattery, Goss and McGuires lack of goals it was Watt and Van Veens goals that stopped us being in a relegation battle last season. Our only hope is if Spittal settles in he can get goals along with maybe Tierney. If not it will definitely be a long long season.

Nearly 40 minutes gone and we haven't had a shot on target. Going to be a long hard season watching this shit.
-
A save. There hasn't even been a corner yet.
-
A desperate game with two desperate teams who will be scrapping it out in the bottom 6 of the league.
-
That's exactly the point. It isn't cheap to travel. It isn't that cheap for some people to buy a season ticket. You pay your money you are entitled to express your feelings. Some fans may go a bit too far. If the best the players and Alexander can come up with is the fans drove me out and the fans are toxic, that makes me laugh. Listen to Fergie talk about his early days at Man Utd. Alexander and the players don't know what toxic is. Grow a pair.
-
Blaming the fans. Really!!! What a dick. Deflecting how crap his and the teams performance was. He wasn't exactly clever at the first goal. His lack of height caused that. It's the 5 wins in 23 games. How about you mention that it's you and the rest of your gutless wonders that contributed to his demise. No hope for us with dicks like that blaming the fans. Fuck right off Kelly. That crap from Kelly tell you all you need to know about our spineless cowardly team.
-
The problem is the fans knew before the board that he needed sacking. Trust them. As I said. NO.
-
Don't hold your breath for that happening. It took them long enough to realise Alexander was a dud. No doubt we will go for the tried and tested merry go round manager. Let's face it the next managers only task is keeping us in the Premier League. To be honest climbing the west face of the Eiger would be easier.
-
That would be my choice. He is a winner having won premier League titles with Rangers. He was also part of the Rangers side which reached the 2008 UEFA Cup Final. Say what you like about Old Firm players but winning is expected and drummed into them. Knows the Scottish scene. Worked as youth coach at Rangers. Took Kelty Hearts job when Barry Ferguson left to join Alloa. Under him Kelty ran away with their league scoring goals for fun and conceded the least goals to. This would be a step up sure but he has proved he can set up a team and win games. Also proved he can step into a club and hit the ground running.

We should have sacked that imposter of a manager at the end of the season. The whole Mickey Mouse set up at FP needs gutted. Burrows hasn't a clue. A fan who became CEO. Really!!! He is about as good at his job as Alexander was. Do I trust him and his clueless merry men to get it right next time. NO. Alexander's after match interviews are the greatest stand up comedy you will ever see. Some of the names getting quoted on here are a joke. The next manager must have no ties past or present to the club. It must be someone with a track record of winning. Know the Scottish game and be ambitious and is a winner.
-
Motherwell will not sack Alexander because they do not have the money to pay him and his backroom staff for the time left on their contracts. Blame Burrows and company for that piece of business genius. It is clear that the players are not buying into his philosophy (hoof it up the park and feed on the scraps) and he has lost the dressing room. I do not have a crystal ball but my feeling is that he will be at FP for as long as he wants. He will not resign because as stated we can't afford to sack him. Maybe being relegated is what we need. A new start with young players coached correctly and playing football. It worked for Hearts. The current squad that Alexander has assembled is the poorest I can remember. Sure we always had our collection of duds in the past but not on the industrial scale that Alexander has managed to sign. If people want to continue and pay money to watch this drivel then that is their choice. I do not. I take my hat off to the 5000 brave but deluded fans who bought a season ticket. I live 5 minutes from Fir Park and you couldn't pay me enough money to watch what is simply shite of the highest quality.
-
They must be wishing they played us every week. Defence against attack.
-
Motherwell 10% percentage. Could pick a pub team that would have the ball more than that. Diabolical.
-
Nirennold wtf was he doing. Total humpty. Basic defending and he can't even do that.
-
And how many of them are a success. None.
-
Forget it. We have a manager who only looks down south
-
1 win from the last 15. Scraping into the top six with a ping pong goal in added on time. If there are not questions from the board about the performance then it is them that should resign. I don't think he has put out the same team twice. Guys play okay and are dropped to the bench, others have a nightmare and play in the next game. I am not for dropping players willy nilly but there is no consistency in what be does regarding team selection. We have about 6 players worth the keeping. If he is sacked or he walks Motherwells first port of call should be to Paul Hartley. Knows the Scottish game inside out and has achieved minor miracles. He has taken Cove Rangers from League 2 to the Championship in 3 seasons. Hartley led Alloa Athletic from League Two to the Championship in his first managerial job, before taking Dundee up and into the Premiership’s top six. Ok he is operating with a part time team at a low level. His team are always in the front foot scoring 73 goals in 36 games. By contrast we have managed 39 goals in 35 matches. I am tired of us going for managers who have not a clue about Scottish football and continually trawl the lower leagues in England and with Robinson Ireland for players without scouting what is outside their front door.
