Doubt we will get another center mid got Lasley,McHugh,Clay, and Lucas along with young Campbell so no chance imo think it will be left sided players plus possible goalie if Brill goes
It's their New Year tradition to welcome their 1st footers I have no problem with that it's only a sip of Whisky it's not as if they had a 4 hour drinking session .
That's understandable then just thought was another case of a team cancelling fixture as never suited as remember last years run and this years always seems to be a game played much later than the rest as in weeks not days and found that very strange.
No idea why teams seem to do what they like in this Hibs v Celtic postponed today as Hibs requested it seems to happen a lot at this level surely should be made to play at a given time not when it suits them. No idea if Hibs maybe played some under 20s yesterday or not but dosnt seem right to cancel a game when no weather or pitch problems .
Absolutely gutted but for 84 minutes game plan was perfect we then lost goal and nearly immediately scored again but you can't do anything about ur most experienced player doing the unthinkable and bang your out the cup .Even had chance at end with Moult to rescue it but wasn't to be but to go to Ibrox and Rangers to have no attempts on target after 80 minutes is no mean feat. We never played well imo but can't blame Magee in this occasion as would have taken a draw at start but he was let down by McManus at the end as still can't believe a man of his experience tried that pass. Will take a while to get over this but 3 points next week would be a good starting point the season is certainly not over we need to stay in top 10 and imo we will .
Craig Thompson ref on Saturday ably assisted by Alan Mulvanney hope he assists him better than he did at Firhill when wrongly chalked off Skippy goal at least it's not John Beaton
To me it's not the money he's not noticed in the lower leagues if he goes to Motherwell and plays well he will be noticed .Sounds to me for once the boy is thinking of his career prospects rather than his weekly wage which is heartening in this day and age .If he has the confidence in himself and feels he can play at a higher level then Motherwell could give him the platform to achieve this .
In regards to Pearo very unlikely that he will sign as in talks to sign for someone else further afield than Scotland although nothing has been agreed and signed yet so you never know .
