Considering our locally elected politicians are mostly tims, this is doubtful.
  2. Coming out with complete rubbish like that will only make him more of a target if he wasnt already. Cannot believe the arrogance of the old toad, perhaps this is him trying to play Fergie like mind games. Only completely failing.

Only appears to be one company signed up as well, we really need some firms to take up the £25k packages to really boost the funds. Also surprised at the lack of players past and present who have signed up. Swithering whether to sign up myself or not, really no got spare cash right now but dont want to miss the opportunity.
  4. I'll put in £30. Not got the spare cash to take out a membership of my own just now.

    Fir Park Dj Must Go

This thread is hilarious Something needs to be done about this boy though, absolutely gash.

    Fir Park Dj Must Go

That was utterly horrendous last night, the mash up of David Guetta Titanium and 500 miles was horrific. Please just play some straightforward tunes, even if it is just whatever the current chart music is, just stay away from the mixing desk please.
  7. After a slow start to his 'well career, he has certainly come onto a game. Last night surely must have silenced the doubters.
  8. Can only be good news, however we must be very cautious with any money the club generates. We have been fortunate and relatively successful with cup runs, europe and the like which has bolstered the clubs income. If we go out the cups in the first round a few seasons in a row and dont get decent money from a transfer, we will struggle.

    Scottish Cup 2012

Was really looking forward to the day out on the saturday, might no even bother going now.
  10. Exchanged mine today, absolutely no problem. Handed over the voucher, asked what stand, got 1 brief for the east
  11. Hardly. The media have slaughtered him all week, the Herald today had a good go at him and his behavior over the last 10 years. Anyway, 2nd place is still a pipe dream. We need to consolidate 3rd place, with hearts still in striking distance. Our final league position is well within our own destiny though. its up to us if we want it.
  12. I think this is a positive move. However, Neil Doncaster has already touted the German model, which is a type of fold down seat. I dont think many clubs will be prepared to pay the money for it, us included. Why not just allow the standing with the seats in place at the moment? Its been going on since the seats were introduced in clubs up and down the country. Cant recall any major problems with the current arrangement. On the whole though
  13. I would be up for it. I dont think the club could lose on this, if it worked then great, if it didnt then stick to the status quo.
  14. Mine and yer bro's year was mainly mwell and rangers both Dalziel and Ladywell. Bubba said there was only 5 mwell fans in his whole year at Our Ladys
  15. Personally don't like the design, but if the family do and approved it then thats what counts I suppose. Anyway, I think it would have looked much better though if it was fixed to the brickwork of the stand below. Against the background of poorly maintained corrugated metal cladding makes it look terrible.
  16. Celtic undoubtedly have the better players, but right now we have the better team and the momentum is with us. Will be a cracking game, might even drag myself out for it.

At the end of the day, strikers are judged on goals scored. 10 in 110 games for Everton is, frankly, a piss poor record. We know the potential he has, but he's still got everything to prove down there.
  18. On bbc news channel now as well.
  19. I went for challenging for a European place as the question asks what is our current standing in the game. We are as good as any of the rest in the SPL so should be up there and have been over the last few seasons. However, over the long term I would expect us to be a top 6 team once the economics of football catch up with us. I also voted for if you pay your money you can criticise if you want. This may not be a popular choice, but people should be able to express themselves any way they wish within the context of the stadium rules and the law. The happy clappy dont like it, but personally I find some of it quite funny.
  20. No cause throwing things onto the park at players is 1. Against the stadium / SPL rules and 2. assault. If your going to try smart arse comments, at least make sure they make some sense ya doughnut.
  21. Whos cares what impression dons supporters take home with them This is part and parcel of the game, folk pay their money and can enjoy the game whatever way they wish. Some happy clappy, some constantly moaning and takling shite. Thats the football supporter for ye.

    John Sutton

Aye he knew what he was getting into alright - a million pound contract over 3 years! I would sit on the bench, train with the reserves for 3 years and pick up the cash every week. Whos the mugs indeed. Who was the Chelsea player that done the same thing a few years back??
  23. With interest rates being so piss poor, I wouldnt bet on that cash making any significant gains anytime soon.
