I'd like to officially start the ball rolling on a society meeting to get clarity once and for all on the points raised This forum posts poses far too many questions and hypothetical outcomes and to expect more to contribute to the fund, the society need to hold regular meetings and perhaps an "idiots guide" to how the society works and aims to work in the future if successful

Reckon Swanson could be the free transfer, but imagine their will be a bit of competition from him
-
His interview is on YouTube. Here's hoping he's a decent addition
-
Competition for places with him and one other to follow really has given us plenty options now
-
Defensive midfielder that sits in front of the back four, fits the bill
-
Ross county? Was he released? On loan there?
-
Ach well Won't be him then
-
Aaron Taylor sinclair signing and a half if that's pulled off
-
Fair play to flow and the club, none of us any the wiser for who it could be

I think regardless of how much money you have you don't just give it away or donate unless it's to a cause that you resonate with Like the first poster has put its all relative, billionaire or not,his own wealth or not. You don't just give it away. In many ways giving it without a need for return or incentive to return in my eyes can be more damaging If he didn't beat the drum that it's a help up not a hand out, do you honestly think as many would have signed up? We would all have rested on our laurels and thought ach we have a billionaire owner At the fans forum I actually went up and thanked the man and said thank you Because for all the wealth in the world he didn't need to do what he has done. We are relying on a large number of us to keep the faith and pull people together to get involved but if we could have one eye in the future and have a club realizing the ambition rather than be at 1 persons mercy it would be a wonderful and pretty inspirational experience for every other club to want

One thing you touch on which gives me the fear although I'm unsure how it effects the long term strategy is people cancelling there dd once hutchison has been paid and we are in full control I'm unclear as to what would happen? If enough cancel would it effect our ability to stay afloat and if so how quickly?

Signed up a while back to do my bit paying £30 after donating £1000 the first time round Il pass comment on indulging in the disappointment I had initially of the failure to recognise and subsequently failure to follow up on my initial payment with the annual renewal. The above could be cited as one of the reasons why the society has in my view failed to really take off However I believe the crux of it is we just don't have as sad as it is to admit 50%of fa Saturday's attendance in a position to want to donate £10 per month to something they in monetary terms receive very little back for I have said from day 1 our club will always rely on a benefactor to support at least 50% of the club short to long term

A creative cm with pace and a defensive cm with pace would be what I'd like, not asking for much eh? Ok rb would be an area I'd like to look at but I'd prefer the above first and foremost Really don't think their could be any excuses if we got those kinda players. Board will have armed the management with all the correct tools

so what we having today, couple of new arrivals today and tomorrow or some signing scrambles with 20mins of the window to go? Any rumors out with McGeady and messi?
-
utter baws? Haha we well fans are something else. Not ones to make a snap judgment are we Hope the guy ends up player of the year with 30 goals after that comment God help anyone daft enough to sign for us over the next 48hrs, we have less patience than the old firm now when it comes to new signings or indeed anyone who pulls on the claret and amber

Mcdonald is absolutely wasted in the position he is being played in. That and we are lacking a player in centre mid to take the ball out of our half and into theirs to help create an offensive move is my only moans Some of the players look scared to break forward or worried about taking on a player , thinking Jonson in particular, boy looks short of confidence at the moment. Someone should sit with him and show him the Rangers game and remind him that he's capable of taking the game to his opponents -
I sense a system change or a few positional changes coming soon

Tried for so long to be positive about this appointment despite having my doubts since I found out they chose him over van Der gaag due to the latter wanting to make wholesale changes straight away. Barraclough has since made said wholesale changes over an albeit short space in time and the most startling omission is the lack of fight/inspiration/heart that these changes have shown in the playing squad Snap judgement signings of players returning showed me he didn't have enough about him to refrain from delving into a sentimental past and bring in players to back up his "philosophy" and "blue print" on how he wanted the game to be played Akin to a graduate being given a high level management job too soon His positive outlook and upbeat ways of working would suit him better as a coach particularly in a player development squad than it would with. A squad of experienced individuals who deserve a swift toe up the arse which they would benefit from I'm now officially in the out camp

Good old fashioned boot in the baws is what's been needed for a long long time! Fed up with the taking the positives. Players need to be read the riot act -
Doesn't sound like he's changed much to be fair

Would love us to try 3 at the back Laing,McManus,Chalmers Ainswworth and Johnson on the wings Lasley, leitch and Taylor (the 3 for now) pearo when fit in there Moult, fletch up top Id just like to see us adopt a different style like this if not going to be playing a straight 4-4-2 From a sentimental point it leaves out a couple of my favorite players but would be interesting to see how we would fair -

Pretty much agree with all of this -
Don't think we really know the extent of how the other teams are until the first round of games, going for a score draw

Dom Thomas in a more central role has a ilk of ryan Gauld about it, played in similar position and look where he has ended up. I think that role would suit his natural talent in being able to pick out a pass and score some decent goals. Not to bring the debate of bulked up wingers but I'd prefer a stronger defensive midfielder who is as quick going forward at left mid. Could be a great tactical move bringing him on in this position and playing him regularly in that position in the 20s
